Probably too early to ask, but given what they may have set up already, & the probability that HBO's gone over the cuts of every episode of the season, think they've already made their decision on renewal? Sometimes it's made official even before they premiere (Spartacus, Mr. Robot), or just after 1 episode airs (Game

There was a casting call for one of those scenes in the finale, too.

When working on PoI, Nolan mentioned fully developing Amy Acker's arc when she became a regular in S3, which culminated in Episode 100 in S5, and played on in the final 3 eps. And there've been quite a few instances of foreshadowing on that aspect for quite a long time, until it actually happened.

Oh yeah. Especially when Two and a Half Men came out. And the franchising machine kicked off through CSI, & eventually NCIS.

    I see. Thanks for clarifying.

Probably did to build the sets for the more high octane sims, though. :)

Folks who followed The Good Wife might argue that point with you, but there's a lot of truth to what you said.

From what I've read of it, it was much more grounded in science. Dude really swings hard.

Sure, it's just at a point where they have the basic beats in place. Doubt any scripts are actually written to account for the rest of the run.

    WrestleMania IX done right!

Or a rival park competitor which is also 'A Delos Destination' (presumably ones with either Roman or Medieval settings), who happens to be an AI herself.

She can physically play a goddamn sentient computer, given the setting.

Helps that there are lesser episodes each season. And longer hiatuses.

Aliens are my preference too, but there could be stuff like foreign countries racing to building their own AI, or since Samaritan was down, the government would be looking to develop another one to take its place. Or even folks in the private sector taking their stab at this thing.

Great, the more the merrier. Thanks Jonah/Lisa. The EW piece also mentioned them roughly pitching a 3-4 year plan, when they first talked with HBO.

More screentime for Mr. Clarke, please. Smart teacher, landed a lovely girlfriend, & avoided being killed by Connie bitchface. There's nothing the man can't do.

Or a theatrical version of Bernard Shaw's 'Major Barbara'.

Not a coincidence, that this is announced roughly around the same time Barb found her next gig.

Think Jonah's as big an advocate for film as Chris, but had to go digital when working on Person of Interest, cause there's not much choice in the matter then, and it helped with the story they were telling.

Best of my knowledge, those who still do it are Amazon's Hand of God, ABC's The Middle, American Horror Story, & The Walking Dead.
