Except to hunt foxes in the countryside. And what about that Quail shoot in October!
Just expect about a 10% hit to fuel economy. Maybe more depending on the tire they come with form the factory.
<quote>Interesting fact - 034 is the part number prefix for most 5-cyl engine parts.</quote>
Another favorite of mine “salvage”.
“swap -trade -honda -acura”
This is the best thing ever. Can we have a site to submit finds?! I spand a bit too much time shopping for cars I am not buying....
Welcome. To the Thunderdome!
“The last thing most profit-based corporations need is not one, but two massively expensive racing programs. Especially if they’re competing against each other.”
They should give a proper 5 link coil sprung rear suspension again while they are at it.
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!
Big bank take little bank.
Yeah we own a 2015 Focus and a mkIV Golf. The focus hatch is useless in comparison. I can throw an entire five shelve unit form ikea into my Golf, AND STILL CLOSE THE CARGO PRIVACY COVER. My ladies Focus will barely fit 3-4 duffel bags.
Useless hatch is useless.
College flashbacks: the “science” behind the wagon wheel effect is known as aliasing. The youtube form of it presents when the sampling rate of a camera (60FPS-ish) matches the rotational speed of the object being filmed. In this case a wheel that rotates fully in 1/60th of a second.
You mean like the 6 cars I wrecked while I was a valet in college? Even got a 2 for 1, 4th day on the job.
Were coworkers now! I work for CareerBuilder who is owned by the same company. So I guess more like work cousins...
Yeah, its hard to justify a TDI when the golf R gets above 30MPG highway now. (Ignoring silly things like $$$$, but who has a budget right?!)
Yes it was an ALH. TIL all of that stuff. I don’t think that the PD versions had urea injection either though, so they would likely have suffered the same issues. I guess the 2.0 is what you are talking about with the LP system. Good stuff. Thanks internet guy.
Why the fuck should we care if they want to export them? If they are in compliance with other countries emissions standards, let VW sell them there. I feel like that particular part of this is a reach for the US courts and regulators.
