Agreed, very much. Whether I’m driving my car (that’s in the video) or my cheap and boring DD, I don’t care too much. I go to C&C to see some interesting cars and talk to other car guys. I specifically go there because it ISN’T a stuck up car show.
Most of us had many crap cars before a single good one, so I don’t mind

Do it! And get some sport cats on the car ASAP. I highly recommend wiring up Fuse 22 for the exhaust to a switch (don’t forget to keep the fuse!) so you can switch it on and off any time. My Vantage is full on race car loud when I want it to be, and very, very quiet when I don’t. Such an amazing car, and a privilege

Not at all. I’d take this over an Enzo! So ridiculous

Can confirm that these cars need to be driven. I got an 07 with 8800 miles last year and I’l working through a lot of little oil leaks. One was an O ring, another is a seal on the engine... fun.
Either way the car is amazing and probably worth suffering through the issues. The previous owner had the electrical gremlins

Plastidip is a brand. None of their products were used in this. It definitely needs a more well-known name, but I think liquid wrap is fair right now. This is using Raail and Kandy Pearls products.

2007 V8 Vantage. I got it last September with 8800 miles on it, after trading in my 2008 Lotus Elise (lots of stuff done to it, but too damn hardcore for what I wanted. I'll probably get another some day.)

It's a manual, all black. Black interior, black stitching, black paint (non metallic). The only things that

It was done by Kustom Koatingz in Philly, PA. It was well under $1500 for it done to this level. Everything taped, including the full wheel wells, the body line underneath the car, all seams for the doors, hood and hatch, and so on. It was done extremely well!

It is... and I did!

Is the outback the comfortable, practical, semi-luxurious car my wife will like while still being something I can enjoy driving from time to time?

I recently got the shop manuals for my and my wife's cars. I do whatever is reasonable, but some jobs either are beyond my expertise, or just take too much time.

I'd keep the purple, but on a car that offers a manual.
Oh wait... already did that

Thanks for the clarity. I watched again and it was on his main cutaway side. Good info.

That's something being discussed in the sport right now, and you see some people setting them higher. You don't want it too high because if you open low you don't want the reserve also coming out. Having both out can be very dangerous. Plus there's additional costs and downtime from a reserve coming out - only

Having a good amount of skydiving experience let me clarify some points:
The instructor deployed the student's reserve parachute, which is designed to be more stable and reliable than the main parachute. This gave them the best chance of opening without any malfunctions.

Ford does offer a CNG / LPG option. I wonder if a guaranteed sales number of well over 150,000 is enough to justify a modified existing, or entirely new, engine for that platform.

The USPS provides a very valuable service right now. Until physical mail dies out and you only get package deliveries, they will be needed.

The current Transit Connect Van in the US has a payload capacity of up to 1620 lb, but only 128.6 cu. ft. of space. The postal service wants 155, but I'm sure they could find a plenty more room without a passenger seat. Prices for a well equipped Van version, with some options USPS might want - elec windshield

I briefly thought about getting a DB9, because you can find some with manual transmissions. However, the V8 Vantage is a much better driver's car. Smaller, lighter, stiffer, and arguably the most beautiful of the bunch. It's got super reliable engine and transmission, so you just look for one with paperwork proving

TL;DR Guy's butthurt
