Something clicked in Chuck the day Pelosi announced the inquiry. He came on TV that afternoon ready to battle like he’d been in a coma for the past 10 years (which, TBF, he pretty much had).

Great analysis. Schiavone is in the right role in this team. I’ve enjoyed listening to him in podcasts and shoots in the last couple of years.

I couldn’t stand him back then, but hearing him on Wednesday was like slipping into an old pair of shoes. He was on his A-game and helped elevate Excalibur’s performance as well.

I never appreciated Tony back in the day, always found him kinda douchey, but damn if it wasn’t great to hear him and JR doing what they were born to do. It really seemed to lift Excalibur’s performance as well (based on what little I’ve seen of his work prior).

It also looked awful on the broadcast. It looked like they were wrestling in a black void (especially with the dark mat/ring apron), which made matches like Shirai vs Yim almost impossible to watch when the competitors were both wearing mostly black. Full Sail may be intimate, but it looks like dook on my TV.
