I think the real story should be why in the world would anyone purchase Bulletstorm again for $60?
I’ma take this space to represent for Dawn Staley. Second black woman to coach her team to the NCAA WBB title, South Carolina’s first title in WBB. She’s the first coach to win the championship who was once the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player when she led UVA (ugh) to the final in 1991 (they didn’t win, but game…
HZD was my game of the year but every hour that passed in that game I was begging for a way to mix/match outfits or at least dye them different colors.
[...] and ESPN notes that she will have an “expanded on-site presence at events such as the Masters, World Series, Super Bowl, the College Football Playoff, and College Football National Championship.”
I mean, I get the complaints about the five year window, but more from the mindset of “I’ve waited so long for a new Mass Effect game and I’m disappointed with what I received”, but not to the extent that people are taking it.
As someone who doesn’t read up on that type of shit, my impressions were this: Wow, it’s a Mass Effect game. Too many sidequests that are fetch quests, but otherwise it’s a Mass Effect game and I don’t see what the problem with that is.
It really bothers me the way people get sucked into the meta-narrative of a games development.
Yes, the online campaign was wrong and bad.
I do enough bear riding in real life. I’m blessed with a power bottom partner.
I can’t be the only one who thought Mipha > Zelda, right? Zelda I’d be bffs with, Mipha I’d tap, tbh.
I’ve always wanted to know the details about how the ME games were written - I just beat ME1 for the first time in years and have started up ME2. I want to say that the writing in ME2 is a step-up from ME1 but I think it’s actually the total production value package that’s improved - Jennifer Hale is giving a more…
I wonder if down this line, this game will go the way of Alpha Protocol: everyone hated it when it first came out, but after a long time, people eventually appreciated it. It has (sort of) the same problems too, such as the bad animations.
This already has more character than the whole first game lol
...but, but they had the other guy, who wrote that brilliant ending to ME 3 all by himself, and then gave us the, “fuck you, and the horse you rode in on” Refusal Ending in what was not at all a petulant, “you rubes just don’t understand my genius” middle finger to the entire player base.
Touche’ destiny, I chuckled and considered buying your treadmill again.
Drew Karpyshyn’s stellar writing on the first Mass Effect was the trilogy’s saving grace. Even after he left, and the writing went downhill, they were still building on the bones he left behind, and that was enough to carry them over the finish line (although not without some major struggles).
Washing the laundry is no big deal.
It means the city gets attacked in the opening cutscenes. Your character scrambles from the ground shouting “hang on everyone! I’ve got two years worth of guns in my vault right over th—” and the vault is immediately destroyed by a direct gunship salvo.
What laughs? He keeps talking about all these laughs he is generating, but what idiots think him rehashing bad hitler jokes from 1980s is humor?
