Now that I look back I misread your comment. I thought you had said Jessica was investigating the source of Luke’s power due to the video and that’s not what you said at all. Sorry. My mistake.

I’m in the camp that she was watching Luke out of guilt over her role in Reva’s death. A couple of others have said that she was investigating Luke. If it weren’t for the scene where she couldn’t sleep and her reaction to the photo in the medicine cabinet, I could see that, but I’d have to lean toward her wanting to…
My interpretation is that nobody hired her. She was following him out of guilt. If I’m not mistaken, the first time she follows him, she gets out of bed to do it because her demons wouldn’t let her sleep.
I don’t know how much you can read into this, but I can’t help but notice that Boris Kodjoe’s name is at the end as “guest star”, while everyone else is credited at the beginning. I just went back and checked the Hulu archive. Last season, his name was at the end after “special guest star” Mary Steenburgen, while this…
I’ve never heard any of the audio dramas, but now that you mention it, I get kind of a Twilight Zone vibe, but can’t put my finger on which one.
I liked that whole conversation, where the Doctor and Clara were trying to figure out where they were and why they were there.
O’Reilly doesn’t really do religion. CNN was founded by an atheist and their coverage could be described as agnostic. I can’t see why Fox News would give a shit about a line in Doctor Who and though if asked, a higher percentage might take exception, better than 95% of Americans would fluff it off.
Interesting interpretation. I’m trying to figure out if it might play to the exchange between Clara and The Doctor at the end, but though the dialogue could work in that direction, I don’t know that it’s an exact fit.
Because I read the recaps and the comments immediately after streaming the episodes, I use the individual show tags. Of course that will also bring up the relevant Morning Spoilers and posts like the Sleepy Hollow set visit, but the recaps are easy enough to find.
I just watched the episode. Jane and Reade followed the tattoo on her calf which led them to the helicopter, where he quipped that he bets she could fly it, then she says they should double back to the cabin for the others.
I enjoyed the episode, but when Supergirl was asking Hank how much longer she’d have to run his tests, I couldn’t help but think that she’s doing them as a courtesy to him and she can stop at any time. It’s not like she needs his permission to fly.
Apparently a lot of people are confused by CBS launching their equivalent of HuluPlus. Thus far, all of the CBS shows stream for free on the CBS site and unlike Hulu, they’re available approximately seven minutes after they finish airing on the west coast. They did announce a Star Trek recently that will not air and…
I agree. Supergirl should have had a supersized premiere.
I’ll watch it on cable or Netflix, but though I’m a fan of both Jobs and Sorkin, I don’t think the subject is even worth a Redbox (unless it’s the free one on a coupon and there’s nothing else to get).
I’m just glad they didn’t end up with a scene similar to the one in the hospital, where she saw her son and was told the whole thing was a dream with maybe a shot or something leaving the audience to wonder whether her ending was real.
ETA: Now that I think about it, considering the spoilers we all know, the “fight you for her” may have been foreshadowing and not a throwaway line.
I liked the throwaway lines: “fight you for her” and “web designers”.
The 360° view is kind of interesting.
So the Doctor wasn’t willing to destroy all the Daleks directly—even if Davros’ offer wasn’t an obvious trap—but he’s perfectly willing to trick them into destroying themselves. This is sort of a Doctor Who trope. He won’t commit murder (usually) but he’ll happily set things up so that people’s own bad behavior…
