When I saw the video this morning on Gawker, I assumed they were the rappers and their classmates were helping create something for YouTube, then I clicked through to the story and learned that wasn't the case. So, yeah, what's with the guys?

Were Elvis' gyrations sexual? The censors at CBS thought so, which is why he was only shown from the waist up on the Ed Sullivan Show, but looking back, we see it as just the way he danced onstage.

Just a couple of thoughts from the peanut galley, I also think the new iteration looks interesting, but it's a little hard to judge its inclusiveness with 145 apparently the default (or maximum?) number of discussions and with the pendings currently set to display.

I've never been as impressed by Happy Endings as some people, but I enjoyed the show in the beginning and have also noticed that it's been very flat this season.

I don't know what was up with the alert about a false report, it doesn't sound like an appropriate use of the system, but toward the larger issue: rape statistics regarding college campuses are off all over the country. It's a combination of wanting to protect the brand, a goal which has always existed on most college

Though mostly a rhetorical question, but is "daytime" a genre instead of a time of day because the online reboot of One Life to Live will be viewable anytime, as is the archive of "daytime" soaps which first appear on TV?

One of the underlying pillars of her lawsuit is that they used her billing info to get her real name, then contracted with another website to find her date of birth.

I guess if someone really wanted to push it, a person could be charged with fraud for lying on a resume or job application, but unless you rip the company off for a lot of money or kill someone through negligence, in most cases it would just be a firing offense.

Why can't you lie on your LinkedIn?
It wouldn't be a crime.

The first thing I did after reading the post was pull up the previous stories.

Workplace rules are workplace rules and every workplace is different, but as I noted in another "pending" comment, the President made the aside at a fundraiser in a private home — a social setting — which both he and Ms Harris attended as celebrities to help the hosts sell tickets.

Good post and overall, probably not a bad set of rules, but it should be pointed out that the President — whom no one criticizing the remark thinks is a misogynist — complimented Attorney General Harris at a fundraiser, which can't legally be considered a work event in a private home, where presumably drinks had been

One of my big problems with this story when it first broke is that through their actions, Hearst empowered people with blackmail schemes. As the post indicates, there really aren't any criminal matters and Sasso was single, so he was punished for not paying off the blackmailer, which is something the next person may

Yeah. I went back and forth between "embellishment" and "enhancement".

Because the quote doesn't appear under any of the links or the links from the links, I suspect it's an embellishment.

Wasn't this an episode of Disney's Jessie?

Of course, I meant Swift.

Excellent post and I'll say that out of all the pics I've seen, I liked Jewel's the best.

I wonder if anyone has done a study, but my assumption is that the crappy cereals which need a mascot are predominately ate by boys. Historically, young females may have been eating less cereal all around and those who do probably lean toward the healthier varieties or the same brands as their parents consume.

The pronunciation guide for Wilkes-Barre was also pretty odd.
