I hope they decide some day to market it to the people with eyes who want decent forward visibility. Or maybe to people who get motion sickness if the dash is so high that it feels like you’re sitting in the backseat. Because until that happens, my wife will continue to be unable to last more than 3 minutes in this

I figured. I knew I was a fool to hope they would create something closer to LMP1 again! Womp womp

Hmmm. So this explains why they are reducing the power in the LMP2 cars. Seems this new class won’t be any quicker than the current DPi cars. I’m actually wondering if it will be slower. I don’t think 90hp can overcome a weight gain of 220 lbs. Wonder why the name change at all then - other than the hybridization rule

Oppo - represent! I couldn’t help but scratch my head at the oppo comment. Could have sworn I was just on there. Heck, I usually go their before I wander onto the FP. Actually, I learned about this article FROM there.

Hey David, you should consider building a frame for your display and a stand for your projector. The frame should be built to really pull that screen tight and the stand should bring your projector level with your screen. It will greatly improve your setup.

I’m surprised at their selection. I might have to get this FD3S. It’s surprisingly hard to find a decent FD.

A lot of people do. Quite a few of them move up to C5Z’s and C6Z’s too. Others go into spec racing or just move on to whatever they are fond of. Lots of options

The only downside I can think of is if you need to fifth wheel tow. I imagine swapping out the receiver for this would ad an extra layer of annoyance. Though I suppose a lot of 1 tons never fifth wheel

I agree. That’s why we have a travel trailer. We winterize it and leave it for months and it’s fine.

Full disclosure: I didn’t have time to read the article.

I was involved in a hit and run accident where the driver came into my lane and swiped my fender. They then pretended to pull over and took off.

If outright power is your goal, then the 2JZ has technically achieved more than the barra. Not saying it is a better engine, but more time and money has been invested in it and it shows in the drag racing world. There’s over half a dozen 2JZ powered drag cars that have broken into the 5's in the 1/4 mile and I don’t

Sir, I’ll have you know that money pit has a W12. I’ll chalk it up as a typo and your comment is still 100% valid.

You can do the same thing in the US for significantly less money by substituting the RB30 for a 2JZ, LS1, 4G63, Mod motor, etc. etc. etc.

I tried to get into this but I really can't. I'm not sure why. I've been to about a dozen races in person and I love IMSA. I enjoy watching it online and going in person. But I can't get into this. I'll give it another shot, but it just doesn't do anything for me.

I completely agree. The fit and finish always bugged me. The car had low miles but it was still noisy and distracting. The fuel pump whined in the summer and the bushings popped in the winter. The interior rattled and squeeked a little.

245 front and 265 rear. I didn’t keep it long enough to go to a square setup and it didn’t seem worth it to do much with the handling.

I like all generations of the Z car. I even like the Z33 and Z34 - though I don’t think I would own one. A little too heavy and a little underpowered. I would like them a lot more if they had 100 more hp or 400-500 fewer lbs.

Reminds me of the early OHV slant 6's they used to shove into everything.
