Any more details on the engine? Narrow block or wide block? Original cast iron or a billet piece? Why did they destroke?

Hi Kristen,

They also make countless track corvettes and they likely have another C8 for track duty. They’ve raced in world challenge and they have some of the best coilovers, aero, and chassis mods available for the C5/6/7.

LGM is a huge player in the corvette community. They’ve built drag and track cars and have even competed in world challenge.

LGM has been modifying corvettes for the strip and track for a very long time.

Crank makes sense. I thought you were saying at the wheels.

Yes. Stock fuel system somehow.

I’ve never seen an M278 make that kind of power on stock turbos. Do you have a link? Are you confusing it with the M157? Or maybe the M177?

The S55 handled similar power without any major issues on stock internals. Though the crank hub should be replaced regardless.

The M2 was disappointing for me. I could definitely tell that it had some extra mass for a compact car. It weighs over 3600 lbs but it’s shorter in length and width than a C7. It reminded me of a Z32. Compact package with a little too much weight.

For those who haven’t been following the tuning potential of the new S58 that first debuted in the x3/4m - it is insane how much power people are getting out of this engine on stock turbos.

I see the last paragraph but I swear that wasn't there when I commented!

What... no inward facing jump seats??

Time for an update, David

Did Kinja for mobile change again? I’m now getting screen where I have to press “continue reading” to see anything. Then music started randomly playing while I was scrolling. Then I had an ad cover my screen and hitting the close button did nothing.

How does it compare to the base cayenne? Which one does which things better?

His thighs are nearly touching the steering wheel, his knees are nearly touching the dash, and he’s hunched forward so who knows how close his head is to the roof.

Having spoken to Cayman owners who track their cars and experienced personally the issues with the Cayman and its struts on all four corners - I would not get a Cayman if I planned on tracking it. Occasionally spooky handling aside, they don’t have the cooling or oiling properties necessary for a track day without
