Would that be such a bad thing to have barriers throughout? That seems like a good thing as far as I can tell.

I can’t say I’ve missed watching GT cars at Indy. The infield is very meh and the track isn’t even fully utilized, If I recall correctly.

But that doesn’t stop poorly maintained car’s brakes from cooking while going downhill and oblivious owners from not noticing

Yeah, but the mustang can't handle... wait, that hasn't been true for a long time. Ok... I have nothing

I did not know a C8 would be that long. Makes sense given the trunk behind the engine. That makes it longer than the NSX as well. Interesting

This is very true.

Maybe just ones that involve almost certain death if you understeer or experience a tank slapper.

Keep the bikes off. The rails would be for the cars to prevent serious accidents for those who can still compete

The Buick 215 V8 from 1961 to 1963 was all aluminum. And there were several random aluminum V8's that followed that one throughout GM's history before the LS1.

I think the bikes should be kept off, regardless. The rails would be for the cars to prevent serious accidents for those who can still compete.

Not at all. Keep the bikes off. The rails would be for the cars to prevent serious accidents for those who can still compete.

Unpopular opinion: they should install reinforced barriers on some of the more treacherous turns as well (evo corner, George, engineer, etc.). I’m not sure how feasible or effective this would be, but it’s always terrible to hear that someone has gone off.

The Supra is only 4.5 inches shorter than a C7 base coupe. It’s also about 2 inches taller and within half an inch in width.

Warming up stock tires like that isn’t usually your best bet for a good 60 foot. Which would explain why their’s wasn’t great. Just a super quick little spin of the tires is enough to get the dust off of them.

Two months earlier:

Fun fact: the C3 has a pretty extensive aftermarket that is primarily focused on handling.

I think the GM engineers valued styling and performance equally for the C3.

True. Though they end up paying new car prices, or just about.

This is true. I was told that my best bet was to first buy a loaded 991 or a turbo and try again later. Hard pass (I also can’t afford either of those)
