That would be really cool. We sometimes secure our bikes and a ladder (to get onto roof of camper) in the bed, but I imagine the battery would make the bed shallower, which wouldn’t be a big deal.

I was hoping for more range. We got our truck to tow a camper and we often drive about 500 miles a day with one stop in the middle for food, a bit of gas, and bathroom breaks for us and the dogs. The longest we’ve gone on one tank is about 350 miles (36 gallon tank and fiance was asleep).

Paylless is going out of business

This is a great way to start a new performance divisuon!

But you can ride it on a lot of roads and get most anywhere.

Sport Cup 2's are probably fine.

If you add sticky rubber and track the car hard, then what the OP said is true.

I think that is a bit of an exaggeration, but you did bring up all of the points that really should be addressed if one wants to track a C6Z.

My experience was terrible. The app is rated a 2.6 out of 5 on the play store. Something tells me I’m not in the minority.

The app is rated a 2.6 out of 5 on the play store, so I’m guessing I’m not alone in my terrible experience.

In my experience it was garbage. Take that for what you will- doesn’t change the fact that it didn’t work for me

Booooooooo!

It’s a bit lame that they don’t give Ford the credit they deserve.

There are others who have run similar times with similar mods. I don't have time to look them up, but you can see them on YouTube

Check again. Both the 2018 F150 and 2018 Mustang have 12:1 compression ratio. From what I can tell in parts catalogues, the two engines are remarkably similar and I can’t find anything about the camshaft or internals being different. Manifolds are different of course, with F150 emphasizing torque over top end.

I have a 2018 f150 with the 5.0 and 4wd

The new 5.0 has proven to be pretty stout. There’s already a bunch of trucks out there running the Whipple 2.9 and the roush blower.

Indeed. The 2018 and 2019 V8 is the same generation as the current mustang. The only major difference is the intake manifold, and even the truck manifold flows well. The stock f150 engine also revs lower, but people have made over 420whp with a tune only on e85:

And pretty much every exhaust manufacturer will sell you a side exit that comes out before the back tire. OEM is still side exhaust as of 2018-19, just coming out behind back tire

Now playing

Just buy a single cab with the 5.0 V8. Plenty quick stop and respectable with only a tune. This is tune only and it's a flex fuel tune. Drive to the track with 87, fuel up with 93 or e85, and run 12's with nothing but the tune.
