I still maintain that an LS3 C6 is the way to go. If I were to do it over again, I would have probably purchased a non-Z51 LS3 C6 instead of the C5Z I had.

So many wrong answers.

The 935 won it all as well

Calling it now. The C7R will win it over all (yes, I’m aware how implausible that is)

I mean, the 787b kinda lucked out with all of the fast cars failing that day. It was actually significantly slower than most of the other cars in its class. But that’s a story for another day.

Does it still make more sense to just buy a C7 and a V6 Grand Cherokee? Are both of those things better than the trackhawk at what they’re meant to do?

Counter point: Semi-Metallic pads have better bite and perform much better with repeated use. Ceramic pads aren’t nearly as good at dissipating heat.

Do you know any more details about your original pads vs. the replacements? Part numbers? Ceramic, Organic, Semi-metallic?

I miss my 03 Cobra but I’m not sure I could see myself going back to a Mustang or a Mod motor. Though I did love how easy it was to get more power out of the Cobra. The C5Z I had spoiled me. Such great returns in handling and acceleration with how light and wide the car was.

I’ve been aware of Mihovetz for a while and the potential of the Teksid blocks. Just hadn’t seen anything about the WAP’s having potential - and I’ve even read (browsed) that article! lol. Must have read right past the WAP bit the first time.

Are there any more details on these cars or is it just the videos? Not trying to be a nay-sayer, just genuinely curious.

the stock LS record is a hair away from 6's and there are many builds in the 8's that are still ticking after dozens of passes.

I’ve heard nothing but poor things about the 4.6 WAP. Can you share any builds that back up the 2000hp claim? I don’t see why someone would bother when the Teksid blocks are readily available.

Only the Teksid blocks are more robust. But there are plenty of stovk long block LS motors that can, and have, made more power  than what a 4V with upgraded rods can make.

Student loans are an easy gimme. Cosigner is likely spot on

You got it... question mark?

This is awful. But I like it. Star

This deserves more stars.

No bitterness here. I bought my first car with cash. I was brought up with the mantra that if I want something bad enough, I should find a way to get it for myself. I perfectly understand that many kids don’t have that sort of parenting advantage and thankfully it has paid dividends in my adult life.

You do realize that you come off as an ass when you start a sentence with “you do realize,” right?
