The 2nd gen had a turbo 4 cylinder called the 3S-GTE. Same engine that “boost_retard” mentioned above.

I was mistaken. I thought the 1st gen Rav4 came with the 3S-GE at some point.

Are my eyes deceiving me, or does the massive window sticker say “NITTO,” while the sidewalls have “Pirelli” printed on them??

I never mentioned my own financial position..... But a lot of people are not in the position to spend $70K on a car. Pretending that they are just “setting the bar low” is blissful ignorance.

A $70,000 loan, at 6 years to maturity and 4% interest compounded monthly is nearly a $1,100 payment per month.

I believe they were talking strictly about new cars.

Love you too, Buttercup. But you might wanna settle down and take a deep breath. Maybe ask your significant other to cut you off from the internet for a little. Everything is going to be OK.

This! I still think it would be cool to get a first gen Rav4 with the 3SGE and turbo that little car. Could be like an EVO on stilts or something.

Who is this guy? Nobody? Nobody. Cool

ZR1 owners are an unusual bunch from what I’ve seen. They often care more about the fact that they have a ZR1 then they do about the performance itself. The ZR1 badge is especially important and special to them.

I never encountered a single C6 Z06 owner who felt jilted by the release of the ZR1. Maybe there were some individuals who only cared about having the fastest car out there, but the owners I came into contact with preferred the big naturally aspirated LS7 over the heat-soak-prone LS9.

This. The Scat Pack is the only Challenger or Charger that I’d consider purchasing.

If I remember correctly, they never sold the Cosmo stateside.

Well, at least the MX6 doesn’t have a rotary.

“But if you ask me, there’s only one way to go.”

What? Why? What does this have to do with the Cosmo?

It’s slow relative to the power it makes, but I wouldn’t consider a car that traps over 120 to be slow. You’re talking about a car that runs mid to high 11's at 125+mph. That’s not exactly slow.

I didn’t forget that it has a big V8. But that doesn’t change the fact that it’s heavy, slow, ugly, etc.

The R63 AMG is slow, heavy, ugly, and gets terrible fuel economy.

I was going off of memory and I was mistaken. I acknowledged that fact to multiple other replies. I displayed no level of conviction in my beliefs outside of simply trying to correct something that I turned out to be incorrect about.
