Hey, Lancia has been doing great selling nothing more than a single model in a single market (Italy) for over a decade, because no one has the courage to pull the plug on one of the most significant car marques in history, or otherwise to invest a penny in it.

it looks lazy too, like they slapped new front and rear fascias on the ancient previous gen charger

Seriously why are people not freaking out about how ugly it is, cause its ugly.

Yeah, who the hell is paying $85K for a Dodge that is neither a full-size, fully loaded pickup or a Viper? The only American car that can command a price like that is the Corvette which has spent decades of being a high-price halo car unlike Pony cars, which spent decades of being a reasonably priced family cars with p

If they put four round headlights and a proper sized grille slot, it would be a major improvement visually - Make it look like the old 1969 Charger 500:

People will want to buy it, but not for $85k.  $45k, sure!

At Whole Foods, at least.

Meanwhile, multiple dealers confirmed that Dodge will be discounting the 2025 Charger EVs as a way of “getting them out there” as one dealership put it, which is honestly kind of troubling.

I think an even bigger problem than the price is the looks. The car just looks unfinished and I find it to be unattractive.

Is it possible that Stellantis will ever get back into the business of making cars that people actually want to buy?

You could look at this through a cynical lens, or you could look at this the way Jagrjones is looking at it which is purely a bright spot in a really shitty time for a lot of people. Yes it sucks that people are dying and no amount of time is going to change that people have died due to these fires. You know what

I mean, I think the idea is that each station will have space to allow the cars going to that stop to pull over and make room for others behind them to pass? But yeah, it reads like a lot of wishful thinking.

What a stupid description...it’s like they don’t even know how their own system works.

Imagine trying to go 150 in that half-assed tunnel the way Musk insists you’ll be able to do.

Except the courts will never, ever make Elon pay for his negligence like they did for Navin Johnson.

Ok, so I just watched the video and I was wrong about lack of sunlight. But the realization that you’d literally start getting tunnel vision makes it even worse. In a few years it will probably be like something from “The Jerk” coming to life.

Imagine the monotony and mental abuse you’d have to endure being a driver on that job — probably long hours, crap pay, and nothing but loud, annoying, self-absorbed convention goers — often drunk and obnoxious — making the same dumb comments and jokes over and over, every 5 minutes. Plus nothing but artificial light

Great, Tesla’s fully committing to jumping on the stupid LED Unibrow bandwagon.

Oh, good, Tesla is selling a rebadged Hyundai Kona now?

Profit is completely irrelevant to Tesla. As are any other metrics like sales, meeting it’s state goals, etc. It’s stock price is proof of that.
