This deserves more up votes. On top of the Corvette (which is far and away the biggest example of GM going cheap), virtually every car in each of their brands was rocking this steering wheel, including Suzuki when they were partially owned by GM.
The sad thing is the current Avenger was supposed to look like a miniature Charger. At least, that's what all the car ads in my newspaper seem to think.
