Yeah, No Sudden Move was kind of odd. It might have worked better in a theater with a crowd than at home on streaming.

I have no doubt that some people want that, but I don’t think I’ve ever tried to make a customizable character in a video game look like me. It would never even have occurred to me to do so.
I choose to see it as “this is what Carmy’s family life feels like to him”—non-stop screeching and yelling and everyone being chaotic all the time. Obviously even families full of no-chill Chicago meatheads have times when they’re just sitting around quietly or whatever, but this is what Carmy feels like family…
I finally finished it today and for lack of a better place to post this on the A.V. Club, found this. So, yeah. Season 2 was fantastic. This show is so tense and energetic and full of life that it’s almost unbelievable.
I dunno if I’m okay with the possibility of either of them making it off that island alive.
I dunno, the episode where they had Gordon Ramsay show up as a guest judge and murder two of the contestants felt a little forced.

We were lucky enough to watch it traverse the streets of LA on its way to the CSC back in 2012 or whenever. That was a pretty amazing event.
