So much to unpack in todays shift - yet hardly one car brand mentioned offers any gears in a transmission, or even a transmission at all ;)

All the bad reveals to date have been black, and what is #1 on this list? An all black car.

Why did it take Jalopnik a week to publish news about this? Don’t they have moles working in all the factories to relay news like this in real time? Surely there’s a Jalop in every plant in the US, if not the world.

Really, I did not know it was FWD. I thought the X1 was the the only BMW with that.

Clearly the Ridgeline needs another 2,000+ lbs. of mass, another 320 hp and 100% of its torque available at 0 RPM. Without that, its not a real truck.

At least the BMW 2 series Gran Coupe doesn’t have the Angry Beaver look of most other cars in their lineup. It’s a pretty classic face.

It’s the gig economy....

I can see Hamilton joining Ferrari as development driver, or team strategist. But as a racer? Who would be #1 ?

WTF? I was hoping for something truly different, and in-between the 50 & 90. A lowered, more sporty mid-size vehicle. You know, more wagony.

50 psi!!!! normal tire pressure??? Is that sidewall max? Airing down to 30?
Most vehicles start at 30-36ish and air down from there. No wonder it doesn’t get traction. And those tires are barely off-road capable. Give it a set of KO2's and then test it (and watch range plummet).

True, but I’m on Jalopnik, because its a car site with journalists, who aggregate car news from around the world, then (should) add context, facts, further background information and related anecdotes to create value for readers.

Soooo..... just Florida? What about Georgia EVs? Or California? Something about the flat-land sunshine state? I guess you’re saving those states for follow up stories.

I’m not believing that an aluminum Porsche fender is only $500, even unpainted. That must be off by a factor of 10.

On a similar topic, has anyone correlated a vehicle with a city/state name, with actual sales in that city/state?

Pontiac LeMans, any year for the WIN!

I love them all (except the Taurus). Had a B5 Passat Wagon, and a Mazda 6 Wagon with manual.

Nice bike handle BTW.

So I’m watching the video and hear the glorious sounding V8. That is what motorsport is about.

GM and their Hummer ‘Crab Walk’ mode are crying in their beer now.

With a handle like darthspartan you should have known the tires are made of Carbonite. ;)
