Ouch. I wouldn’t call Daniel Kim an idiot. Unfortunately he didn’t have enough talent for a Panigale. He was nowhere near the lean angle limit for that corner, panicked, stood it up, and ended off the track. I’ve done that before early in my riding career (the going off track part, not the endo thing).

Leave the highway where it is and build platforms over the ‘ditch’ to provide new land above for the entire N-S stretch. The highway effectively becomes a tunnel, with way more new parkland on top than the current plan offers. Plus no pedestrian worries.
