I like it! I’m partial to the efficient packaging of a near cab-over style truck. Its weird enough to be cool, but not so weird that its ugly. If the extended bed still has a tailgate to close, then they’ll have a winner with me. Without an enclosed bed, might as well just leave a regular tailgate down.

True, but as a car nut I like to ask some questions as tests.

Isn’t a cell phone the same thing? I have turned off the phone microphone for as many apps as I can, but I still get ads that seem triggered by random conversations.

Hmm. Interesting. I just started to experience a low humm, directly related to road speed, most noticable above 30 Mph. Thinking its a wheel bearing, but it seems equal from all sides. Usually a wheel bearing gets louder in a turn as you load that side up. Not sure I’d spend that money, but might consider options.

I really like the looks of the current CX-9 and the reviews are very good. I’ve heard some turbo related problems, but hopefully those are rare. Mazda is definitely going in the right direction - Euro feel, with Japanese quality.

I test drove a new one many years ago and though it was just an econobox. By the time I got the OTD price, I figured no way as a new car. As a $10K used car, for sure.

“a very reliable CX-9" Is it one of the Ford CX-9s, pre-2016?

In 2020 we bought two cars, from different neighbors across the street (‘11 Grand Cherokee and ‘03 Miata). Best way to do it.
I now have my eye on a mint VW Rabbit GTI a block up...

I totally get this. Sales is a game. I worked in a bicycle shop in a high end neighborhood. We never had price tags on the bikes. When someone pulled in with a luxury car etc., they were a mark to get more $$ for any given bike, or steered to the higher end models. Also, we knew which model inventory was heavy or

It serves a niche, like the pickup camper inserts. But any city or trail you can drive a Saab/Topolla into, you could easily take small camping trailer. And the best part is you leave the trailer at your campsite and drive the car into the city.

I’m ready for Amazon Prime Video Motorsports or Netflix Motorsports! Their platforms work well and they already have a ton of motorsports shows streaming. If they can figure a way to add coverage of all the World and regional championships like MotoGP, MXGP, WSBK, AMA SX & MX, F1, Touring cars etc. I can’t watch every

I had a Saab 99 similar to this. Was a great car to drive. Two of us tent camped for a month up and down the west coast and did just fine without a ridiculous box in the hatch. Hard to see how this would preferable to a small trailer.

It all depends on the return process. How easy will it be?

Nice to have the car/driver number prominently on the side of the car. That’s just as important as the title sponsor. I mean NASCAR knows the drivers are the stars as much as the cars. People watch racing for their heroes. Not for the sponsors.

I’m just glad they got rid of the dreadful pink. Anything else is a massive improvement.

The real question is: Will it play in Peoria? Literally.

But why, in this age of rapid change would the USPS require a 20-30 yr. lifespan? Mail is quickly dying off, electronic communications are exploding and EV development is in its infancy. Those factors will converge faster than we can recon to make daily mail delivery obsolete.

I think you nailed it.

I’m with you there. I read car mags and go to shows to pick my future used car! I’ve had good luck buying 2-3 yr. old low mileage used cars from same brand new car dealers. I use my own line of credit so I’m completely flexible on price and payment schedule.

I would’ve thought a dirty diaper tossed at a strategic location might get their attention....
