....saved $3,600 these last 30 years...” Of course the registration fee has only been $120 for the the last few years because, inflation and government sucking on the teat of drivers. Prior to 2011 the annual fee was about $70 and less the 20 years prior to that. Still the savings exceed the fine.

Yes, lifted pickup is the only answer. I lost count of how many I saw on the North Shore in just a few days. I though they were government issue...

4th Gear - Really? Really? BSA?

How about just limiting downforce to a specific proportion of a car’s weight? One windtunnel test for each car to validate it? These days the only interesting races are wet, since the driver actually has to drive, not just floor it and let the aero do the work.

Mazda - more trucks!

I’m sorry, but these bikes are just toys. It’s like pitbike racing, which is already a thing. This Cake is about the size of a CRF125 (bigwheel), which you could buy for under $4K. The stock CRF is so quiet you could run a race anywhere in a city and hardly anybody would hear it anyway. And you could race all day for

Raptor all day long. Just not a 6x6. You gotta be able to jump ditches, and bounce over parking lot medians without even breaking a sweat. Plus pickup trucks are now the beige Camry or Minivan of the day.

How dare you! ;) /S

Well $5-10K for a family of 4 is not hard to spend on a vacation. That makes for nice downpayment on a new or used car.

Good for Singapore. Have any trains there crashed since going automated? My point is that trains should be the easiest vehicles to fully automate.

To be fair, Russia has lagged behind the West in popular culture. Now it seems they’ve caught up to the USA circa ‘70s.

rolling into the station just before midnight last night and was unmanned save for the driver”

I’m guessing Hamilton wants to make his record 100 wins in F1, just because.

Do any of the ‘autonomous’ ADAS driving systems allow speeds exceeding the posted limit?

Hey, is that Ed the Sock?
