I’m a wagon lover through and through. But, I have to admit the higher H-point (hip height above the ground of the passenger seats) of an SUV/CUV is very attractive in a daily driver.

I kind of disagree. Having just acquired an older Miata, I find it extremely uninteresting on every motorcycle friendly road I know. It just has no acceleration. It maintains decent corner speed, but an SV650 would kick its ass.
You’re not playing the game right.
Don’t feel bad about not knowing these exist. With at least 34 Sub-Compact and Compact Crossovers on the market, how could anyone but an industry writer care enough to know all available?
When it comes to Hollywood Cheeze, you can’t beat any motorcycle themed racing movie. Hard to believe how bad they can make those things.
GasMan’s Turnip truck left after he fell off...
Nothing raises red flags like saying the car has a freshly rebuilt motor, just before selling it.
Seems like a good deal to me, compared to any other car with specs like that.
Extended warranties on complex, expensive things like used cars are really not a bad thing... at the right price. I’ve gotten my money’s worth on one before.
Good one. I had to look it up. I’m not as deep in to VW folklore....
Ya, I’m thinking that a base model Sportwagen with an aftermarket sunroof might be a better idea than the Pano roof.
Enough with the Toyota/BMW mashups already.
Let Toyota/Lexus have the ugly grilles.
You want a leaky roof?
I just watched a season 2 Top Gear (2003 I think) featuring the GM ‘skateboard’ hydrogen powered platform with removable body shell. They proclaimed it’ll be on the road in 20 years! Between that, the EV1 and many others, GM has started and stopped more innovative alternative fuel projects than most any company…
“Blashishin” sounds just like the way a drunk would pronounce that word.
A far better game to play is 21 Pilots!
I tend to agree. But I think its just because endless plains are just different from the usual tree lined highways in my neck of the woods. Although I’d have to say that I-90 through Minnesota ranks down there with the most boring.
I also find it funny that both Bentley and Bugatti are brand names of mass market luggage purveyors.
Do they really though? I don’t know any Bently/Rolls owners so I’m only guessing that don’t care about the engines. I expect they like to waft quietly and smoothly down the road, which is perfect for electric propulsion.
