Excellent analysis.

“Telehandlers don’t have to worry about pesky things like suspension or bodywork,”

This makes perfect sense in deep, muddy ruts. If all the tires can dig into the firmer rut-walls, not just the fronts, I expect you’d pull out much faster than if the rear wheels can only drive forward.

Is anyone going to fix the Notifications function? I can never navigate to my specific post that has been starred or commented on. It used to work. Is there something I’m missing?

Hmm, you may be onto something there. Maybe if Jalopnik were printed on paper once a month and distributed though stores and the Mail - for a price? Then Jalopnik could sell space on that paper to advertisers who want people to see their messages, while readers peruse other stuff that they have to buy.

Imagine that. Cars at a show about cars.  Works for me.

Agreed - 750 cc is the sweet spot for inline 4 and maybe 850 for a twin/triple.

Don’t you mean Stellantis ?  ;)

Gimmie a word any day over the meaningless code names for vehicles ‘cause product planners are too lazy/afraid to come up with unique names.

Fair enough. For a 300+hp car, that’s not a bad weight compared to a Supra. But the others are expectedly heavier cars. For me, the Z brings thoughts of the early gen’s, which were more like the Miata/BRZ are now. Lightweight two seat sports cars.

Wait, is that the new BRZupra?

Ya, but if that platform is overweight and under performing compared to the competition, what’s the point? Porsche has gotten away with it, because Porsche. GM finally did what they needed to with the Corvette.

I tend to agree here. This way, the top GM execs can just play a finger pointing game when Nikola goes down in flames. GM stays an arms length away and limits the damage.

Arguably a better choice than Elton John!

You’re right there about stepping into bed. Isn’t the tailgate step friggin ridiculous that its even needed?

I have never understood why Chevy stopped offering El Caminos. Hell, Honda sells plenty of Ridgeline pickups, which are the same car/pickup concept.”

Well, I learned something today.

Yep, its still one of the best looking cars on the road.

F*&%$k me! Another $60-$100K SUV. I’m astounded that the market can absorb yet another luxury vehicle pushing 6 figures.
