You’re right there. A recumbent is a viable option... only on paper. Actual versions are never a good solution.

Turbo V6 hybrid super/hyper car. So the NSX and Ford GT are the obvious competitors. Are any of them top of the list of any prospective supercar customer? I expect the price point will be nearer the GT.

I had a ‘99 Passat Wagon. Loved driving that car. Hated the frequent, strange electrical failures (and water in the CPU footwell). I can live with mechanical repairs as long as they’re not too frequent.

If you give a low income person a cash bailout, they will spend it, not invest it. I would bet that every penny gets put back into the economy virtually immediately, in one way or another.

True. But given the downturn in travel, its a good chance the car has been sitting for days, which should kill of any virus. Demand the agency do a good surface treatment with Clorox wipes before driving away.

Funny, my wife really liked the Tiguan. Then we test drove a used one (2016) and she was totally unimpressed. Gravelly engine note, underwhelming power, bouncy ride....   The Golf Sportwagen we drove afterward was worlds better.

As a 2015 Tacoma owner, I (sort of) agree. It really is kind of terrible to daily drive, unless you’re loaded with a few hundred pounds of stuff. But the fact that brakes will last almost 100K miles and nothing else really breaks takes the pain out of ownership.

Given the Corona Virus panic, H-D should pounce on the ‘freedom of the open road’ as a marketing tagline. I can’t imagine that US governments would restrict interstate travel to a degree that would prevent motorcycle riding. Pack a tent and hit the road folks....
