I love how many of these are driving through the Rockies, Utah, PNW, California coast. And that people, is the reason I could never live east of Denver.

Yeah the grille goes up, but the entire radiator/core support structure is still there in the way. What you are describing would be removing any structure behind the grille, while every other truck still has some kind of structure in that location.

I’ve actually asked Turo about this as the main “proper city” in my area has a 17% rental car tax, but the suburbs don’t. The problem is the airport is in those city limits, so if you ever drop a car off in the city limits where the tax applies, you legally have to pay that tax. This is what I was told by Turo when I

I concur.

Hmm, yeah I could either spend 30-40 minutes, in bumper to bumper traffic, driving to work, or spend an hour and a half on three buses and one train. I mean good on you for committing to that, but it doesn’t make sense for a lot of us.

Many places already have 10% tax on fuel.

I’d be okay with it if they also didn’t have a car called the E-pace, that is gasoline powered.

For those in Japan, or have visited, is it worth road tripping through? The more of Ken’s articles I read, the more I want to drive the country and hit up a bunch of awesome mountain roads along the way, as well as other cool car spots. I’m just a little unsure if I would hate myself due to traffic/tolls/etc.

You have to click to the Motor1 article they linked too above.

Sedans don’t technically need four doors.

I hope not, my 3 year old fridge has some electrical issue that causes it to turn off the lights and cooling, even though the display makes it clear it’s still getting power.

The dirt part you are probably thinking is unfinished is a motocross track. They hosted the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross a few years back. The dirt is just covering up a couple corners of the east track.

It was with Jay Leno and it was at a Secret Service training facility. Colin Powell showed up too in his C7.

I’d guess it’s a PR thing. Buying employees out is like saying, “Hey we need to cut costs, but we feel bad about it, so here’s some money.” While laying people off looks like you don’t give a shit about your employees and just see them as dollar signs. On one hand, the company still looks good, the other they look

I too have seen this car in person, and it is a top notch build. That BEAMS engine sounds great, too.

Your graph backs up what he just said. It only shows like a 2% increase for men and maybe 4% for women from 98-08? That’s not much of a change over 10 years, especially compared to 88-98.

How is Portland not on this list? It’s been rated the #1 airport in the country the past 6 years by Travel+Leisure. It’s the only place I’ve been to where the TSA agents don’t seem to hate themselves.

If you’re anywhere near Utah, KSL.com is the place to list it. Craigslist is a graveyard for cars in Utah. KSL had filterable listings long ago, before Craiglist made a half-assed attempt to add it. And KSL forces people to fill out the fields required for filtering. Plus it’s free.

Probably because it’s easier to trademark a word you made up, then one that already exists in everyday speech.

Too bad flashing your brights at someone is illegal in Washington. (To clarify, that’s only brights. You can turn your normal lights on and off, but still)
