I think I’d just mod the shit of out them in ways that would infuriate the Ferrari purists. Maybe something like a Voodoo engine in a 355. More power and more reliability.

Depends on the state, but they get registered as kit cars.
Three days? In his own driveway? Shit, my old apartment complex’s rule was 7 days, and they barely enforced that.
I was curious how many people in the US don’t wear seatbelts, and according to NHTSA it’s about 10%. At first I thought, that’s not bad, until you realize that’s about 28 million people, or more than the New York metro population.
I’m going to guess all of these images are renders/photoshops, so changing the color wouldn’t have taken too long.
I totally get that, I just think the “million mile drivetrain” news is overblown. A million miles needs to be the minimum target, not a miracle in engineering. And based on other high mileage Teslas, it’s getting the battery, other parts of the drive unit, door handles, screens, etc to last that long.
Current semis on the road are designed for 1 million miles. Getting the drive train to last that long without a major rebuild isn’t something new. As someone else said, getting the rest of the vehicle to last that long is the bigger issue.
On the other hand, you could basically drive a Lotus Elise for free for a couple years by buying one, taking good care of it, and then selling it for the same price. Only cost would be maintenance, gas, and insurance, but you’ll be spending that on another car anyway.
Would a Factory Five Daytona Coupe be close enough? A quick google search shows people spending $60k for a full build including interior niceties, though these use a Coyote engine.
Is that one of EV West’s cars?
Cleetus McFarland bought a street legal NASCAR truck, but it was first titled in Mississippi. So it depends on your state and the kit car laws.
Toyota owns Hino trucks, so you can get a Toyota commercial vehicle.
Most of society still doesn’t understand what those people are saying. See John Oliver’s interview with Snowden.
Man I thought paying sales tax on the assessed value on the car here in Washington sucked, fuck that excise tax noise. In Idaho and Utah I was able to tell the DMV I paid $1 for my cars and they cheerily asked for me for the few cents I owed in taxes without question.
My dad had a 96 F250 Crew Cab diesel. I loved taking road trips in that thing.
92-95 F150s have always been a favorite of mine. Especially the clean lines of the interior.
They list a traffic control, catering, and permit person in the credits at 2:45.
6 more years and it qualifies for classic plates.
Are you talking about Manbearpig? Because Ale Gore warned us of that too.
With a few million 3.5 Ecoboosts out there I’m not surprised some people’s turbos have failed. There’s also been plenty of people with trouble free high mileage engines as well. Here’s someone with 300,000 miles, still on original turbos.
