As a Land Rover owner I can firmly say, Nope, most of them still suck. We actually drove 3 hours to the next dealer to pick up our car because our local one has such a terrible reputation and terrible selection. The other dealer was pretty good, but they are also owned by a guy who owns two JLR dealerships, a Mercedes

Yeah you need to do some more research. In my area 58% of the power comes from renewables (hydro and wind mostly).

Yeah but it feels different than most new cars I’ve sat in. Usually I can get mostly comfortable moving the seat around a bit, including rentals, but I’ve never been able to find a comfortable position in a Fiesta.

As of 2018, a 22-37 year old.

I want to like the Fiesta, but every time I’ve sat in one the driver ergonomics just feel off for me. And that’s with either the base seats or the Recaros. It just feels like the steering wheel is in a weird spot. But maybe I just need to spend more time in it.

CliffsNotes for the win!

These all would have sold for much more on Craigslist in my area. I feel like going to a big expensive auction like this would be a great place to find something cool and cheap like these. Everyone is so distracted by $40 million Ferrari’s that no one bids on these $5,000 cars.

Am I the only one who has never heard this referred to as “Dog Tracking? I’ve only ever heard it called “Crabbing. Is this a West Coast/East Coast thing?

I’m only seeing VLN and some truck racing for 2018. That’s not enough for me to care, especially when there is other racing that is free to watch (WRC on Redbull.tv). Or if you want your motorsport fill, then MotorTrend On-Demand has all kinds of stuff.

They also help pressurize the cabin of a rally car to keep the dust out. Evgeny Novikov ripped off the roof vent of his car at Rally Mexico and the cabin filled up with dust pretty fast.

There’s one (or more?) a year at Maryhill Loops in Washington. And I believe there was one at Bogus Basin Ski Resort in Idaho. And Colorado has a whole series, but they are all on dirt roads. The problem is our country is very large and spread out, so events like this are as well.

Probably not yet, but I’d bet they are working on it. In my quick google search I found the exemption for their current engines.

Though, you could argue that it basically is, since it does have a central governing body (unlike Africa) and meets most of the requirements of a sovereign state.

Argentina this year had a couple stages like that. One due to dust and a couple with super thick fog, yet they were still pretty flat out.

Regarding Best Buy, it’s because they don’t advertise that. I had no idea they would haggle, other than matching a competitors price. But I also avoid Best Buy like the plague since I can everything they sell, online for less, and their sales people are way to pushy.

It depends on how old the freeway is and how dense the city is. Most of the shoulders in my area are only a few feet wide, not enough for a car to drive down them, and a couple bridges have no shoulders.

Here’s a couple videos of the 405 (Fremont) Bridge getting shut down for this.

It sounds lame, but it’s actually kind of a soothing game to play. I haven’t played the American version, but the European version is pretty fun.

And the ability to communicate. The lack of people with good communication skills is astounding.

2.9 GPA engineering degree got me into a top Fortune 500 making above the average salary right out of school back in 2011. And I know I’m not the only one.
