There are quite a few tarmac rallies. 4 of the 13 WRC rounds have tarmac and tarmac rallies are very popular throughout Europe. All “Rally” means is it takes place on closed public roads, across multiple stages.
Same thing with “cheaper” brand Mac and Cheese. That stuff tastes like cardboard. Just spend the extra $0.50 a box and get Kraft.
Yeah the $1 people annoy me, that’s why I always put a minimum price of $200 when browsing Craigslist low-to-high.
I was actually going to suggest the current Electric Drive smart. That instant torque makes it quite fun to drive stoplight to stoplight. And it makes cool spaceship noises.
Yeah here in Portland, Car2Go and ReachNow seem to be pretty 50/50, and I see them all the time.
You just need to slap one of these on the side.
No problem. I think we all too often get caught up in the political image of countries and forget that outside of that government, we’re all people, and most people are decent. (Not all, but most).
Yeah my guess is depending on how complex the part is, it could be a month to a few months just to get new tooling. Then you need to run some parts for quality check, adjust, run again, then maybe production. So by the time you ramp up a new supplier, their current one will probably be back up and running.
Here you go. An American, riding his motorcycle through Iran, and found nothing but nice people and great hospitality.
I’ve changed the oil on 3 modern (2013 or newer) Mercedes including one diesel. All three were easier to change than the oil in my 94 Miata due to the super easy to access oil filter location. Not to mention the cartridge style filter, so nothing leaks all over. And yes they still all have drain plugs so you don’t…
Haha what’s funny is changing his oil that often is just making the oil companies more money, while not doing anything to help out his car’s engine.
I thought it was originally filmed with a Ferrari, but the footage was too shaky, so he re-filmed it with a Mercedes and dubbed the audio from the Ferrari footage.
You just have to find the right company here in the states. My work does 4 weeks (20 days) for everyone the day they start and unlimited sick/personal time. I’ve heard of other companies that have unlimited paid-time-off for all employees. It’s just not federally mandated like other nations.
From what I’ve heard the Mercedes Classics Center in LA will make any part for any Mercedes model you want as long as a drawing still exists and you can afford it.
Well, technically they don’t have the same name. The 2018 JK is called the “Wrangler JK” and the 2018 JL is just “Wrangler”. I mean Mitsubishi does the same thing with the Outlander and Outlander Sport being two different vehicles.
There’s another conference coming up for Blockchain in the commercial vehicle industry, and it’s actually sponsored by Daimler. And it has speakers from Navistar (International) and a bunch of trucking companies like J.B. Hunt.
Yeah they filmed that with another Bugatti Chiron. But you know, we American’s love having the biggest/tallest/largest/best/fastest whatever in the world.
Funny enough, I’m pretty sure he is living in a RV on the California coast. So your statement is at least partially accurate.
License plates stay with the car in certain states too, like California.
