That’s a really good point. I believe part of the struggle is that many economic solutions are complex enough that it’s nearly impossible to effectively describe them on the campaign trail.

Good comments but I worry about the economic plan part. Trump was able to win traditionally Democratic voters by straight up lying to them because it was what they wanted to hear.

I think charisma was way undervalued by the establishment. For better or worse, we live in a social media / reality TV / streaming world. Imagine Hillary as a youtube personality. She would have like 2 followers. Huma and her daughter out of sympathy.
