You realize there is no such thing as a “contested convention” for democrats this year?
It might be the internet, but I posed a question to someone specific, hence why I replied to her comment. I asked her why she wouldn’t purchase Under Armor; I certainly never asked you.
You chose to insert your opinion, which sucked. Sorry it didn’t go over well.
No one likes to be called a “gym bro”...even bros who frequent gyms. The comment came across as snide and judgmental. Unless, you know, you meant “gym bro” in a positive, uplifting way?
Well, that got aggressive in a hurry.
Got it. I live in Baltimore and the owner of Under Armor has invested beaucoup bucks into the city, so I’m really partial to the brand. I basically feel obligated to support them because they increased my property value like crazy.
Genuine question: why wouldn’t you buy from Under Armor?
Honest-to-god-non-snarky-question: Do you think she’ll face different scrutiny after receiving the nomination?
My earliest awareness of Hillary Clinton in my life is a memory of driving with my dad in his old Lincoln, eating Wint-o-green Lifesavers, and listening to Walking Piece of Human Garbage Rush Limbaugh eviscerate Hillary for daring to step into a non-traditional role as First Lady. He had a parody song called “Try to…
I would argue that she’s effectively been running against the GOP since 1990. Is there anything that she has done that hasn’t been picked to itty bitty pieces and thrown back in her face tenfold?
Marsha Goddamn Blackburn. The same Member who managed to find the time to ensure that millions of federal dollars were allocated to defense appropriations, but somehow couldn’t find the funds for my organization’s foster care project that fiscal year. Fuck her. Seriously.
The problem with your responses are that you just call my legitimate working knowledge of years spent working on Capitol Hill “lies”. I mean, if that’s the road you want to go down, fine, I guess. But you have someone here with years of knowledge of the inner workings of the actual system - who spent her own time…
You’ll note that none of the “successes” listed in the article you linked to involve major legislative work done in the House. He passed one bill. In 1992. The rest of it is “voted for” or “voted against”. That’s like saying, “I drove to work and sat at my desk today”. It’s the bare minimum. He’s not authoring…
As a Representative, Sanders did the legislative equivalent of sitting and chewing gum for 16 years. I wouldn’t be chalking that time up to some exceptional level of experience. Members can benchwarm a Congressional seat for long periods of time so long as they continue to get elected.
Seriously. Yes to this. It’s hard to rage against the machine while needing that same machine to work for you.
I applaud your consistent effort to insert The Top Ten Reasons Why Bernie Sanders Is Oppressed and $hillary $ucks into the middle of every discussion.
And just so, so AWARE of everything happening around your twelve year old self.
Jesus Christ. This again. When I was 17, I was a member of the College Republicans. I recycled typical talking points because they were the views of most of the people where I grew up.
The reporter wasn’t “looking to trip him up”. He was using his interviewing skills to attempt to get answers on specific policy proposals...answers that Sanders didn’t have.
