Yeah I’m kind of in that opinion now days. I think that’s why she started pivoting more towards pop and away from country. She wanted to build up and diversify her fanbase more because she knew a lot of the fans and performers of the country genre would vilify and cast her out her for being outspoken on these issues.

Come on, now. Bey speaks out on these issues all of the time—and she walks the talk. There’s no need to pit these women against each other just because Jez plays favorites.

This is something she recently done though she has spent years being silent on politics. I love that she is vocal now. Jezebel has always hated her and nothing she will do will change that.

They hated her for not speaking up or having a stance, but they seem to hate her even more for coming out with the right one.

Not necessarily directed at people who critique her, but at people who live to tear others down and/or spread hate.

Of all the pop stars, Jezebel has to lean really far to get so upset with Taylor Swift. Generally uplifting, speaks to women’s issues, gay rights advocate, spoke out to her (country-oriented) base, involved herself in Tennessee politics, etc.

I feel like this girl could actively save the entire planet from impending doom and Jez staff would still be mad at her for being t-swift.
