Apparently Bitch BcConnell is worried their candidates have gotten too stupid:

I’m not so sure about the idea that Palin was a boost for the GOP. For one thing, her ticket lost. For another, she resigned as governor the following year and didn’t so much as run for office until now, and her TV career never took off either. Also, the 2012 GOP nominee was the extremely milquetoast Mitt Romney, and

One work of fiction I like about abortion that was actually written in 1968 is the novel A Case of Need, written by Michael Crichton under the pseudonym Jeffrey Hudson.

Star Wars had its own issues with slavery.

I can see what a good person you are.

Funny you should say “...if I find that I am supporting something terrible, I change my support.” What if you never find that the terrible thing you’re supporting is terrible? If you find that you’re supporting something terrible it seems to me like missing the point to conclude that therefore you’d never support

Right, I was just disputing the idea that we should’ve known all along she was a bigot. If she’d never embarrassed herself like in the last few years then I think she wouldn’t be any more problematic than Lucas.

I wonder what makes you think you could never support terrible things.

Considering how common slavery has been in human history, I bet plenty of good people supported it. I bet you could’ve supported it under the right circumstances.

I seriously doubt anyone is incapable of supporting terrible things, so I think by your logic everyone’s a terrible person.

One thing I don’t think is quite fair is for people to bring up some of the more questionable things about the books and act like we should’ve seen this coming. By that logic I think you could argue that George Lucas must be a bigot because of some of the more questionable things in Star Wars.

It would’ve taken just a fraction of Nader voters to swing Florida to Gore.

I wonder what you think the reasons so many people left Cuba for here were.

But if I understood you correctly you basically said earlier that anyone who continues to support bad people must be a bad person pretending to be good.

As tragic as her death is, if she was intoxicated I think it’s not wrong to criticize that.

I get that people are generally more inclined to want to date people they have things in common with. I was just using that study in the article I posted to rebuke the idea that conservative dating sites(which I agree are stupid) prove liberals are tolerant when it comes to dating. Regarding the article, it wasn’t

You say that like there haven’t been countless good people throughout history who’ve supported terrible things.

Mandela Effect.

My dad’s conservative and I think he’s a nice guy.

Just out of curiosity: how do you approach dating requests from conservatives who don’t hurl abuse at you?
