I don't get the whole laugh track criticism. For one thing, it's actually a studio audience, but whatever. Anyway, if you remove the canned laughter you affect the timing of the jokes, so I don't think it's really fair to judge the humor on that basis. Why do so many people excuse his behavior? OK, I'm aware that he's done some good things for people, but it seems to me like a lot of the time he acts like an asshole and his fans say he "doesn't suffer fools gladly" or some other classic asshole excuse.

I've noticed people don't really use suffixes like "O-Tron" or "O-Matic" to indicate futuristic technology anymore. Another kind of sci-fi terminology that seems dated to me now is long strings of science-y words like "Let's use the synthoprismatic synchrondibulizer!"
