Just as I assumed, if you don't like Noah you can blame Stewart for him becoming the host.

I used to watch SNL reruns all the time on CC, and later MADtv when CC started rerunning that show. There was some MADtv stuff I liked, but overall I always liked SNL more.

Did the writer of this headline put sunglasses on between typing "two scoops" and "of murder"? If so, did Roger Daltrey scream "YEEEEEAAAAAH!" in the background immediately after?

"Juuuuuuuust a bit outside."

"You mean I can only have 20 beers?"

Ten Cent Beer Night fascinates me because of the sheer "What did they think was gonna happen?" factor.

Fun fact(no, really): little-remembered outfielder Rusty Torres was on the field for Disco Demolition Night, Ten Cent Beer Night, and the Washington Senators' final game(which ended in a forfeit when Senators fans stole stuff from the field).

"It's funny you use that to pretend to be superior."

I don't lower my opinion of someone if they like a show I don't like, so there goes the idea that I measure intelligence the same way you do. Also, care to explain what lowered your opinion of my intelligence so much?

I see why people had problems with the show, but I don't buy the whole "Obviously it failed because it sucked" line of logic. Even setting aside the fact that quality is subjective, since when has entertainment been a meritocracy?

"Or maybe he really feels that way, in which case he is not as bright as I once thought,"

SNL's done plenty of concept- and character-based sketches, and MADtv did plenty of sketches spoofing now-dated pop culture.

People still remember a lot of SNL's topical stuff from years, even decades ago.

I don't think Trump really believes what he says, so to me it seems like he really is lying.

Wilmore wanted to call the show The Minority Report, but FOX objected because they were developing the tv show based on the movie Minority Report(at least Larry can have the satisfaction of knowing he outlasted that show).

As much as I love Trek, I'm tired of the idea that society will have "evolved beyond" sports.

Say what you will about Voyager, but I think it could be really good at comedy, with eps like "Bride of Chaotica, Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy", and "Author, Author."

What keeps that from being perfect prescience is that the '98 Yankees are widely considered the best team of their era.

Don't forget TOS's really flowery episode titles, which reached its apex with "For the World is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky."

Whoa, huge slam on plankton outta nowhere!
