I think you're probably comparing to the Sandler/Spade SNL that was on just before MadTV was created, whereas they're comparing it to the SNL that was actually on at the same time.

I really liked Gump Fiction from their very first episode.

I remember they made a lot of jabs at SNL but I think the only time SNL ever even referenced MadTV was when Seth Meyers made a joke referencing his brother Josh being on that show.

Anyone know if Dennis Miller has been on Celebrity Jeopardy? It'd be fun to see the king of the obscure reference in a trivia contest.

Cooper does deserve kudos for telling Trump he was acting like a 5-year old.

I don't watch much cable news, so could someone please explain all the schadenfreude over him losing?

My favorite is Jap Anus Relations.

I think shame is an underrated quality. Shame is what makes you go "What will people think of me if I do this?"

I don't count them because Columbus is over 100 miles away from Cleveland, and is its own metropolitan area and even has an NHL team. Also, I wasn't counting either of those titles among Cleveland's 10 titles; I was counting the Browns' 8 titles(4 in the AAFC, 4 in the NFL), and the Indians' two titles.

Are you saying the Padres came from DC? The Twins and Rangers both did, but the Pads have been in SD since their expansion year of '69(they did almost move to DC in '74).

Having more teams may make failing to win a championship more egregious, but it also means that you, well, have more teams. Is it bad that Minnesota has an NHL team? Also, a difference of 27 years in their respective title droughts means that it would take decades for Minny to catch up to Cleveland if neither city

I think the idea that the Rockets' titles shouldn't count because MJ wasn't in the league is bullshit; should we not count any title won while MJ wasn't in the league? That Rockets team was damn good.

The Barons franchise arguably still exists in the form of the San Jose Sharks, since the Sharks were created as a result of what was basically a reversal of the Barons' absorption into the North Stars franchise.

If you're counting championships for each city by teams that still play there, then I don't think the Browns should count since they moved to Baltimore(I don't buy the idea that the current Browns are the same as the old Browns). That leaves two titles for Cleveland. Personally, I think the Browns titles should count

I think San Diego doesn't get mentioned enough when it comes to long-suffering sports cities. Cleveland and Buffalo get mentioned the most, and they definitely deserve it, but San Diego's had no titles unless you count the Chargers' AFL title in '63(Buffalo won the following two years). They've also had the Padres

If all that wasn't enough, they're gonna host the Trump nomination.

Chris Carter maned Ten Thirteen Productions after his birthday, but I don't know where "I made this" came from.

Didn't Joss Whedon name Mutant Enemy after a Yes lyric?

It's amazing the way they COMBINE TWO THINGS.

Best era for TV commercials ever?
