Trucks used them well into the aughts and probably still do on the work models.

This hold true for 99% of the time but you never buy a car expecting to make money off it in the future. You but a car because it elicites something emotional in you. I’ve put close to $25k into my e21 but it’s still a $5-6k car. I don’t regret a dime or minute I’ve put into it. So stop nitpicking the car, fix things

You evidently don’t live in Reno, Nv. The “redneck, biker mythos”A-holes are everywhere and it seems every time we have Street Vibrations or any other get together, a bunch of them want to shoot it out in public. I hate Harleys for many reasons and wouldn’t be the least bit upset if they disappeared.

That’s most likely caused by the AC unit being to large for the room. If it was properly sized, the compressor would cycle the correct amount of time to cool the room and remove the moisture. To large and the compressor cycles on and off too frequently to dehumidify the room.

I totally agree. Just bought my wife a e36 325i convertible and I find this car to be a million times more fun to drive than her M235i we sold. Sure, it’s only 168hp but its so much more engaging and fun.

“Point 2" I will totally agree with. Case in point. We had a new stretch of highway, the southeast connector, open up last week here. They posted the speed limit at 45. It’s 3 lanes each direction, running through the desert with no driveways or businesses and 2 lighted intersections for its entire length of 15 miles.

Holy crap, this! I own a commercial property maintenance company that does things like pressure wash gum off sidewalks, replace stained ceiling tiles and burnt bulbs, etc. I now can’t walk into a business now without noticing every single maintenance item wrong with the place. It really drives me insane especially

Whether it needs work or not its still a $300 car. This supposed $2000 that you say it needs is most likely cosmetic and not necessary so if he’s ok with a little damage then it’s truly a $300 car. I just bought a $2700 BMW and spent $700 on tires, it’s still a $2700 car to me.

True dat. I never could understand how people thought it was all so great for Tesla to make simple things more complex. Wipers and heater controls in a menu on the screen on the dash. All in the name of modernization.  Stupid

This is all well and good for a custom built car but that’s not what i thought the model 3 was supposed to be. I thought it was going to be the car for the masses, not some custom built niche car. I really feel if Musk wants to succeed with this, he needs to put aside this “special built for you” crap and start

I remember riding in the back of my mom’s 81 Toyota pickup with 3 friends while she drove down the freeway. Good times.

Plus, headlights won’t yellow 'cause they are glass.

Wait! What?! That reply wasn’t for your post! Sorry

OMG people! It’s not a joke You wrap the string around the faucet and let the water run down the string into the sink. No drop, no sound.

Browncoats unite!

I was hoping someone would post this. Thank you

I’ll do you one better! How about “rebuilding” a carburetor on a 78 Toyota Corolla on the side of the road under a street light at 12 o’clock at night. Ahhhh, good times.

Would a 1979 BMW E21 be acceptable in the show as the model was available mostly unchanged through 1982?

I think what the op is asking is, if the Kessel run is near impossible to do then how do they normally refine the coaxium? Do they do it there or is there a way to stabilize it for the trip that couldn’t be done in the Millennium Falcon?

Damn! If I didn’t know better, i’d swear I was looking at my engine compartment. The body color is even kinda close. That is insanely awesome.
