The Destiny demo on PS4 is pretty much the entire first part of the game with a level cap, but if you like it you can continue your progress after unlocking the full game. It's definitely worth checking out the demo, and if you don't like it, no loss there.

No, quite the opposite. The gray thralls shown in the video are the basic weak "zombie" enemies, pretty much bottom rung of the ladder.
