I saw a guy on the Dissolve saying that we should boycott Friday the 13th films because they are an inaccurate depiction of mental illness.

I think she's referring to the plethora of Tarantino knockoffs, of which there were plenty. It's just a very inaccurate and oblique way of saying this.

Wasn't it "Neko Case will berate you and huck a CD at you"?

That's probably fair, actually.

In my opinion, that makes the government evil, not the technology.

How is this "super evil"? It's sounds like a great idea. Nothing more annoying than some jackass holding up an ipad shooting vertical video of band, with awful sound, so he can post it on youtube for no one to watch.

Well at least he doesn't have a thigh gap.

It's always sold well for a monthly ongoing book, but I bet it's still not anywhere near 10% of the show's viewership.

Agreed - the 90's satire is almost too accurate.

That's an excellent book - I only wish the DC movies could learn a little from Darwyn Cooke.

Southern Bastards by Jason Aaron and Jason Latour - A crime anthology set in Buttfuck, Alabama. Still in the early going, but reminiscent of Aaron's best book, Scalped.

By the way, there was a GOT comic from Dynamite a few years ago, but it was kind of shoddy, and never made it past the first book.

There are no comics that crack a 10th of the viewership that I know of, except for possibly those shows that nobody watches like Powers. As much press as the Marvel movies and the Walking Dead etc. get, they sure don't sell many more actual comic books.

Artemus Pyle walked for miles with his guts hanging out looking for help, and when he finally found a house they shot him!

I always hear his dialog in Duffman voice.

I would suggest Adam X the X-treme, or possibly Stacy X.

Frank Stallone?

Everybody wins? It's still a Kevin Hart movie.

Why are people on the internet always so eager to broadcast their own ignorance?

It also pretty much guarantees they will meddle with the sequel as much as possible.
