Exorcist III is actually really good and creepy. Hereditary seems like a spiritual successor to me, down the the ceiling crawl scene.

It was really good and dark at first but got toned down a lot as it progessed unfortunately.

“Hannibal” the book is batshit!  I don’t want to spoil anything but the movie is only about 10% as crazy.  It’s like Harris was testing to see how far he could push it.

AV Club’s hip hop reviews have been terrible for years.  Nathan Rabin’s haven’t aged well but everybody since him has been embarrassing and clueless.

All I can think of when I see Daleks now is Alex Jones talking about how the UK has real ones running around with a covid testing swab at the end of one arm and a gun to ensure compliance in the other.

Predator 2 is a lot of fun, largely because of the cast and the dystopian cartoon-gang vibe.  Bill Paxton’s character is somehow more obnoxious than Busey, though.
