Buy real winter tires and swap them out in the spring. If you're driving anywhere with a real winter, you're going to want tires that can handle it.

Diaspora's initial groupings are Family, Work, and Friends. You can add more as you please.
I am planning to try this at some point this year. I want to invest in good tools though, so I need to research before making any decisions. Thoughts or recommendations?
That's a good question. It appears other apps can but GV doesn't seem to, or not easily.
More sugar. Prepared foods and drinks are usually saturated with the stuff.
Wait. Especially with Apple, it's best to spend a little more (time or money) to get the best hardware specs you can as you're stuck with those for 2 years. Software and apps can be updated but it's really difficult to change your hardware in a phone.
This week, I ROM'd my Droid2 Global, which is nice for speed and battery life. I am in the process of making it as minimal as possible, using some neat widgets and apps. I'm thinking I might be able to get it down to a single screen with shortcuts on the LP dock.
I recently did a huge widget shuffle and considered this. I ended up going with Simi Clock and some other widgets, but that will remain a contender for the next time.
Using LauncherPro, I've made the call options into the swipe gesture for my google voice dock image. Very handy.
Go to voice.google.com on your computer and it's there. Lots of options to mess around with.
Is there any truth to the rumor that the ipad only has 256mb of RAM?
It's like HotorNot but for stupid. Wouldn't it be simpler to just have it open across the web and let real time dictate?
I was thinking that myself. I imagine someone will come up with a good way to build a multi-handset VOIP phone system integrated with google voice so you can use it in your house if you don't get good cell signal or just don't want to use your other handset. Stream video while on the can or stream music to small…
I don't get it to the pain part because I take a break and exercise to get the blood moving again, but yes, it is a circulation problem. Several members of my family have it. It's aggravating when you live in a cold climate, but your case sounds worse. The best thing I've found is to take breaks. It's not only going…
My problem is that my hands get cold when I'm at the computer. I have a drafty window behind my monitors, and while I've built a little barrier out of video game boxes, it only does so much. I have a monkey thumbs soft shell that helps, but I can't compute with gloves on. What to do?
Now that phones have wifi, they're still useful while out of contract. I expect I'll turn mine into a gmote/xbmc remote if possible when I replace it. There's a lot of neat stuff you can do without needing to be on a cell network.
My phone (D2G) is new because my blackberry just wasn't as useful. What I can do with Android is far and away more useful than what I could do with my BB. And I got a good deal on Black Friday.
How about I waste less of the day by actually getting my work done and not bothering with the asshole at all?
Chrome, Opera, Firefox, itunes, pidgin.
I have a question about something similar, yet this new redesign has done away with all the spare forums so I'll just do it here: there was an article a few weeks back about an Android app that had little reminders during the day to help you stay focussed or whatever. It's not a full fledged calendar app. I want…
