I've had a projector in several houses, and I really liked it. We'd originally bought it for 3D gaming (look it up on Tom's Hardware) and it was awesome for that. It's really nice for movies if you have a good room for it; the ambient light issue can cause problems during daytime if you don't have good curtains.

I really agree there. I've called Verizon while abroad, for free, and gotten someone who fixed my issue quickly and professionally. I'm really impressed with their service and I think that needs to be mentioned more.
