Talking past people isn’t fun for me. Enjoy your life.

I love how often people on the internet quote words I never used or radically misstate my points back to me like I’ll forget what my own opinions are.

If you have a special interest in makeup and spending that money with intention, I’m explicitly not talking about you. As I’ve stated several times.

As I said, my thinking also applies to consumption of other things (like sound equipment). I also said that if this is your job or a special interest/hobby of yours, then I’m not talking about you. I’m talking about people for whom this amount of spending is not intentional.

Forget the money, the sheer amount of time spent shopping, testing/trying that much makeup is mind boggling to me. Also, MOST

Congrats! I never even smoked a pack/day and quitting was so, so hard. I can’t imagine having to cut down from 4/day, that’s a major accomplishment.

That’s a great goal. I expect WAY too much of myself and it can cause me to stagnate.

Job hunting is so hard, keep that attitude! You’ll find something.

One of my big goals for 2017 is to learn an effective way to talk to men in my new field who find me threatening without resorting to minimizing or diminishing my accomplishments. This is a male dominated, ego-driven arena and while I’m used to dealing with professional sexism I’m not quite used to this context yet.

Yes, Nicki is tickled, but the woman on the street is not Nicki. She is pretty great though.
