Yeah, I’m not knocking Deadpool for doing whatever it wants. I’m knocking Sam for saying, “movies aren’t real, so there are no rules and none of them matter,” which is nonsense.

Before getting to the video, can we just address this one ourselves? See, movies aren’t real. A character can die in a movie and then appear in another movie.

For all I know this will win a Pulitzer but The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay—which is also a multi-generational epic about American life during and after World War II--that focuses on comics DID win a Pulitzer.  I can’t recommend this book highly enough.  

Moore is my favorite Bond. Connery but less brutal and more snarky.

I’ve also got a soft spot for Netflix’s Marco Polo, which starts slow but picks up quickly when it starts de-centering the title character and focusing more on Benedict Wong’s Kublai Khan and his court. Wong is magnetic in the role.

I don’t really get upset over what a lot of other commentors call “click-baity” titles for various reasons but this one...it’s toeing up to the line of being misleading IMO.

Pretty sure that’s the plot of The Last Starfighter, not The Wizard.
