Last Man on Earth was hilarious at its best (and quite moving), but it was also profoundly inconsistent. At its worst, it couldn’t have been more frustrating.

I agree, I liked season one a lot but this really worked a lot more for me, I genuinely hope we get a season two of dark ages over a third setting. 

I liked the first season, but not as much as I wanted to. It was likely due to my higher expectations The Good Place set for afterlife comedies combined with a great cast.

I’ve really enjoyed the second season. I disagree that it hasn’t shone as brightly as the first, I’ve found it to be funnier and more incisive than last season. The whole cast is great, but Karan Soni steals every scene he is in.
