I’m in it for Tom. Amazing character, amazing performance by Macfayden. He should have gotten an award for it.

Jesus Christ, it’s not like it’s glamorizing these people. It’s a really biting show about how inept and entitled these assholes are.

It was indeed entertaining. Also DEEPLY disturbing.

What the FUCK did I just watch?

Narrator: “Things weren’t fine.”

Just keep Ron Howard away and we’ll be fine.

The Day King is a legendary hero, the champion of the sun, who fought the nefarious Night Man and his troll minion in an epic battle that makes for a great musical.

Arya is now the Day King, master of karate and friendship for everyone.

I think Arya was able to stab the Night King in a small thermal exhaust port, right below his main port.

I would argue that any actor is made for this feature as long as they’re willing to tell their stories. Not everyone is. But God knows character actors are!

These are the actors this feature was made for. That and Timothy Dalton, which I’ve read about 8 times.

I can only promise that I have a list of great subjects. Beyond that, it’s all up to the AV Club’s freelance budget and the storytelling skills of the actor.

It’s about time, Will Harris!  Four months is waaayyy too long between posts.  Great job as usual.

They’re down to what, 10% of the coverage of TV shows at their peak? Honestly I’m surprise the whole concept hasn’t been scrapped yet in Kinja’s fervor to dismantle the place for parts.

Because it is a platform with content I’m interested in

Meh. AV Club’s total 180 on Joss Whedon was pretty weak. After Whedon got caught cheating on his wife, AVC immediately started acting like they never liked him and how his female characters were actually all super duper sexist as if we weren’t celebrating Buffy Week 4 days earlier. If there was any specific moment

i managed to close the tab before the pic fully loaded (thank goodness for slow internet for once).

Yeah, before the Kinjapocalypse, I really liked the vast majority of the shows this site reviewed.  Now?  Not so much.

Look, I know it’s just one of those things. You don’t want to be spoiled about a show, don’t click on the article about the show. But if you don’t want to be spoiled about the episode, YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE TO BE SPOILED ABOUT A CHARACTER LEAVING OR DYING OR WHATEVER ON THE FUCKING FRONT PAGE OF AVCLUB.COM.

I’m not crying, you’re crying! Fuck me, I’m going to miss him on this. The most disappointing thing was not letting Eliot have more of a reaction. That was a fantastic relationship.  I guess this is officially Julia’s story now.
