BvS is a bunch of good (or at least decent) actors trying

“For Howard, things are about to get R’lyeh crazy!”

I’m sure the millions of dollars in annual revenue from royalties and the licensing of his work and image are utterly immaterial to the Jackson estate’s vociferous defense of him and demonization of his accusers.

You either didn’t read this article, or you can’t read.

Alex literally said: They’re long dead, so frankly, it doesn’t make much of a difference any more, except in a socio-historical way, if you were trying to trace the cultural lineage of cruelty or oppression or what have you. You don’t have to feel bad about liking good art made by those bad guys; they’re dead!

Best choice in the finale, other than bringing back Xan: NOT pairing Kimmy up with a love interest. The show’s love interests for Kimmy and their storylines tended to be terrible, and it just was not the resolution that the character or the show needed. Much better that she is still in therapy and trying to help both

Welcome back O’Neal, you magnificent bastard! Unrelated, but I read your Beastie Boys article recently and really enjoyed it.

You predicted a feature that’s been on the website for the past 11 episodes? Nostradamus you!

You’re a complete fucking lunatic.

Well, it worked with Arrow, so I’m going to repeat what I said on the season 3 finale review: please review this show regularly again! This is one of the best shows on television right now and it deserves this level of insight on a weekly basis. I know it’s not up to you, Lisa, but this was such a good review and I

The thing about this show is that the characters are so strong that they read through the cardboard cutout personas they’ve been assigned. I’m glad the show didn’t waste too much time before starting to get the gang back together.

Toni Collette is partially being ignored because “Hereditary” was a polarizing, minor box office hit. Polarizing, because critics generally loved it, while many audiences did not. A minor box office hit, because people bought tickets out of curiosity as the critics were gushing, but word-of-mouth from your average

Should that matter though? I’ve seen far more great documentaries about unknown subjects than I have about famous people. And are non-Americans really that aware of Ruth Bader Ginsburg?

Huh, I live in Ireland and definitely had Sesame Street as a kid.

Bummed Eighth Grade wasn’t nominated but the Academy rarely nominates horror movies.

Black Panther wasn’t even in the top three best superhero films this year.

(Into The Spider-Verse, Infinity War, Deadpool 2. Don’t @ me.)

Sorry to Bother You should be on there somewhere.

A part of me likes to pretend that Cabin in the Woods is set in the Buffyverse and after the credits start rolling, Buffy and the Scooby Gang just roll-up and defeat the world ending elder god like it’s not big deal.

Yes, Dems can end the shutdown by caving to a hostage taker to make a destructive policy proposal a destructive reality, in exchange for nothing but the release of hostages (setting a precedent of rewarding hostage taking) despite the fact that he said the shutdown wasn’t the Dems fault on live TV and America agrees.

Good Lord, for being as cynical as this, you guys can be pretty credulous, too.
“Before anything comes out about my past” is obviously NOT a real quote. That’s snark by some commenter, somewhere. How it got attributed to Unkrich, perhaps Lindsay Maureen above can clarify.
I’ve known Lee since childhood, so I’ll let you
