I love this show to pieces and hope it does well in the US. And for anyone who watches it and is a little bit confused by the way Joe Thomas seems terrified by life, a) Yes, yes he is, and b) His unsettled reactions to existence do become funnier as the show goes on.

I’ve only seen the first episode of this but was enormously disappointed. It felt muted, bland and predictable, and I can only presume the next three episodes are a huge improvement, otherwise I won’t be able to understand this review being so positive at all.

Perhaps it suffers because I watched The Muppets Movie and

I really enjoyed Feud too, that and American Horror Story Season 2 are the two things that I really enjoyed that Murphy’s been involved in, and prove he is capable of creating a decent tv series, but as others have said all too often he starts well but it becomes a mess or dull by the end.

Call me crazy but for some unknown, unspecified reason I’d be a tiny bit surprised if it was released on the 3rd of September, and am willing to bet, oh I don’t know, £7.65 that it will be delayed again.

Doom Patrol - I know the site reviewed the first three episodes of season 2 but I find it incredibly frustrating it doesn’t get weekly coverage as this is for me the best superhero tv show ever made. I just love how insane it is, they’re doing things which have never been done before (on tv, at least) and it’s been

The first series of the British version is something I love a huge deal, but the second wasn’t quite as good unfortunately, it still had it’s moments but it had a habit of being a little too slow pace wise, especially when compared to the first batch of episodes. Either way I can’t wait to see the US version, and I

I’ve only discovered his work during the lockdown but have found it to be a delight, they’re just enormous fun with an occasional dash of emotional depth too, and I’m personally hoping for a film adaptation of the one from the perspective of a classroom hamster (which sounds like I’m taking the piss, but it’s a story

Dumb, yes, but fun? I missed that bit, sorry.

I watched Akira for the first time earlier this year, and didn’t for one second think it reflected current events in any serious way, yes the police are cunts and the Olympics were due to take place in 2020, but the rest of the article is a ridiculous stretch.

It is, but the age of consent laws were introduced in 1885 (in the UK and US at least), and the main thing is that the film was made in 1958 which for me definitely makes it something which shouldn’t have been made, or Gigi should have been aged by at least three years.

Gigi (1958) - Wow, this is problematic and then some. I mean it opens with “Thank Heaven For Little Girls” which was always a sign that this was going to be dodgy, but the the seduction of a fifteen year old by a man in his mid-thirties really is quite unpleasant, even if said girl is played by an actress in her

I know quite a few people who just really hated Kristen Schaal’s character, though I wasn’t one personally.

I’d give it a B- personally, and I love the show normally, even the often derided seventh season, but even ignoring the infomercial aspects they didn’t really make great use of Tracy, Jenna was slightly annoying (and I never normally find that to be the case), and it was depressing how underused Toofer, Pete, Frank

I came here to say the same thing, that the site claims to care about racism but then highlights work from Miller is fucking sickening.

I only know Tim from Galavant and Deadwood but due to those two roles alone I’m a huge fan, and I’m so pleased to hear he’s getting better, especially as now I can go back to fantasising about that Galavant stage show that was once promised...

The thing which didn’t make sense for me was that when she sent the goat in to the cave it then never appeared in future time loops, but if that’s the case, why did Nyles?

Now playing

I won’t be happy unless the final season has Harry Enfield as Charles and Haydn Gwynne as Camilla and the ending sets up the following...

I loved the Mythic Quest one as well, but Joe Pera’s was superb too.

This is horrible news, I actually like some of Abrams movies, and am a big fan of Keanu’s, but neither is right for this project.
