I’ve seen this as it was on in the UK a while back and I pretty much agree with everything Will says, it’s not a terrible show by any means but it’s a fairly average one which often fails to deliver on ideas and promise shown.

Also, it’s great to have Will back here doing something else other than Random Roles (though

Little Shop Of Horrors violently disagrees with you, and may well devour your corpse for saying such a thing.

It’s quite impressive (ie depressing) that this makes no mention of the fact that it’s based on a short story by Simon Rich (Man Seeking Woman, Miracle Workers), I expect so little from the AV Club these days but it still manages to disappoint!

If you’re talking about Ted then your hatred was not irrational at all.

If you were to wear both a mask and a face visor, and not eat or drink when at the cinema, surely you should be relatively safe though?

I’m probably being wildly optimistic btw, but this week I’ve just been struggling enormously with not doing anything other than working long hours from home / the odd walk and am

I thought the same thing, in some ways I’m relieved though as I love the movie and see no need to remake it.

No, shan’t. And you can’t make me.*

*Unless you live in London, or near by, then you could.

I can’t believe the reviewer had issues with Andre’s jokes about drugs featuring children, he’s obviously being absurdly silly and what he’s saying isn’t meant to be taking seriously, so the suggestion that they may make one pause” seems ludicrous to me.

I’ve no interest in the film, but can anyone explain to me why there’s a picture of a very young Alan Moore at the top of the article?

Yeah, I listened to that episode and liked it a lot, Herring sometimes annoys me, but that particular episode was really great. I’ve tried to watch the Twitch stream though but just don’t find it interesting watching other people playing games, he’s funny at times but it’s just not my cup of tea. Still, fortunately

I have a fat head too, which makes us fat head twins! And thanks for the advice re: masks, I’ll try and get one of the type you advise.

And in the scheme of things I can live without the cinema for another six to twelve months until the vaccine (hopefully) comes along, and miss live comedy and theatre so much more,

Limmy’s Scottish is a particularly strong brand, but over time I’ve learnt how to understand it, I’d recommend checking out the rest of the series too (it’s just called “Limmy’s Show”) as it’s really unconventional but nearly always really funny too.

I get that, I do, and I guess I just have a personal hatred of the noise some people make when eating in cinemas. Not everyone, some are quiet and considerate, but I sat next to a person who ate popcorn loudly with his mouth open throughout Avengers Endgame (he’d bought a jumbo box of it at the cinema, and then had

Thanks for that, I’d not heard that one before but will give it a shot when I’m out and about tomorrow.

No, I wear the mask all the time (even if it’s been suggested by many a scientist that it makes very little difference) just to be safe.

Well I enjoy the experience of watching a film with others, plus it’d be nice to be out of the house and doing something other than walking around the city I live in, but alas it’s not to be for a while yet unless I can fix this.

I did, and it was a great idea for well over 100 seconds, but I don’t remember anything after that.

I tried what you suggested but it didn’t work for me. Might be worth my trying a different mask though, or maybe even one of the disposable ones as I’ve picked up a couple recently but not tried them yet.

I do see where you’re coming from, and definitely have some fond memories from when I was young and any trashy comedy would make me happy, I just wish my local video shops had had a better selection when I was older.

Also, I worked for Blockbuster Video one summer and it was a bloody miserable experience, when we

This is a far, far better sketch from a UK show which reflects the story in a more amusing manner too -
