Why is the picture at the top of a page a young Stephen King talking to an old Stephen King?

I’ve finished this now and had a very different response to it, I loved the romance between Nathan and Nora, didn’t really care for the scenes with Ingrid past about the fifth episode, and found the murder mystery to be intriguing but if anything felt they didn’t spend enough time on it, not at least until the final…
I could be wrong (and often am) but there was something about the tone of this review that felt a bit off, like Zack’s quite depressed or something, going through the motions, commenting on what he saw, but struggling to either be positive or negative, just filling time (and the word count) until he got to the end,…
I love The Magicians so much and wish it had been given a slightly more detailed write up. Also, if anyone’s pondering watching it, the first five episodes are a bit patchy but then it improves enormously, and from season two onwards it’s consistently one of the most genre shows ever made.
I do agree with you completely, but given the financial issues the site’s had over recent years, and the current situation with online advertising in general, for once I don’t mind too much.
Having a big penis can be a curse though, I’m not speaking from experience (oh christ no) but I know one couple who didn’t survive as despite the fact that they both really liked each other his huge penis caused her too much pain during sex, and for her that was a deal breaker.
I’d agree with that, though I’m a huge fan of his in general and love all his movies.
I’ve always been a big fan, though only saw his pilot Lipshitz Saves The World a couple of months ago, and it’s one of those times I cannot understand why it wasn’t given a full series, especially as Ty Burrell’s so good in it too - if folks haven’t seen it I’d definitely recommend checking it out on youtube -
I enjoyed this a fair amount but goddamn am I fed up with the Gary / Jerry bashing. it was always a really ugly and unpleasant element in the series and that they went to that well so many times in this episode really frustrated. And I know the joke is that he has a wonderful life and doesn’t care about the way they…
I was confused by that sentence too, and can only assume Barsanti’s not actually seen the series.
With the first season it’s something of a flawed beast, all of the cast are superb and it’s a fun idea, but the quality fluctuated a little bit too much.
The second season was a delight however, with the same cast but all new characters, and no real over-reaching narrative, so I’d recommend watching that and if you…
And there’s only three episodes to go off the season as well, and as Dennis is coming back for the season finale it’ll just be two episodes which aren’t reviewed this year which makes it all the odder.
I’ll be sorry to see these reviews go, I tend to only watch the episodes that get a B- or above, and it’s saved me from seeing anything that hideous in a fair while now.
I heart Braugher a huge amount but I felt they made Holt a little too cartoonish this season - perhaps it’s just me, but certain things felt a little out of character during the season, sometimes he’s too animated, too over the top. And I’m still not sure how I feel about the ultra violent ending to last week’s…
I felt like this, and certain elements were a bit silly (Sheen’s Chris Tarrant impersonation is particularly ridiculous) and I’m not convinced the writer wasn’t a little in love with Charles Ingram as it’s such a flattering portrayal.
I struggled a little with how it tried to manipulate the audience in the third…
Re: “That was almost a year ago, and we haven’t heard anything since.” - That’s not quite true, two audition tapes leaked this year, one for a British soap actor doing Dream, and an American actor taking on the Corinthian, I doubt if either actor in question will be cast if only because they weren’t high profile names…
From what I’ve read it may be optimistic to suggest the 2021 Comic Con may go ahead - by then the world should have largely returned to some semblance of normality (at least when it comes to working and socialising on a small scale) but enormous events like this could still well be banned. Which is horribly…
I’m surprised not to see any reference to Belly Of An Architect, he blew me away with his performance in that.
I’ve seen Intelligence as it aired in the UK recently, it’s kind of okay but nothing that special, though Schwimmer’s character is definitely the funniest.
I keep looking at that photo and wondering what Columbo has to do with all of this.
