Alas I can’t find a video version of it, but if it’s ever staged in London I’ll go along for sure.

I’ve seen (and enjoyed) Umbrellas but not Star, so shall add that to the list, thanks for that.

Cool, thanks for that, I’ll definitely give it a go for free!

I’ve obtained that and meant to watch it for ages, but will definitely do so now after your recommendation, thanks for that.

Yeah, that’s definitely a bit of a problem with Millie, along with the “Hey, let’s make selling a woman in to sexual slavery all a bit of slapstick fun” which is definitely to it’s detriment.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, I’ve seen and enjoyed both Guys and Dolls and Oliver, absolutely adored Singing In The Rain, but West Side Story I didn’t get on with unfortunately. I’ll definitely check out the rest of your suggestions though, I quite like 60's/70's era Streisland so think Funny Girl will be the

I felt the same way, but in the second half of the third season they started delivering on the promise shown and I just hope the final season manages to do the same thing, given how few episodes are left and all of the things they could include from the comic there’s really no excuse for filler any more.

Thanks for all of the above, I’ve seen and liked Bedazzled a lot but not the other two so I’ll definitely try to track them down.

I’d like to believe you but I can’t find it anywhere online, so I guess I’ll never know for sure.

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll do my best to obtain it over the weekend.

I’m currently making my way through a fair few sixties musicals and have recently seen and loved Bye Bye Birdie, Thoroughly Modern Millie and How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, and know most of the well known ones, but if anyone could recommend some lesser known but still very good musicals it’d be

I just checked and this is the first time that “Seth MacFarlane, perfectly cast” has ever been said on the entire internet.

Eh, I didn’t like it quite as much as William did, I thought Matt Berry was superb and his scenes were consistently funny but Malory and Krieger as arms dealers fell a bit flat, and the ending was a bit disappointing too, for anyone interested I’ve just posted a full review here: https://comedytowatch.com/2019/06/27/tv

While we’re on the subject of Black Label, has anyone else read the third and final issue of Batman: Damned? I thought it was laughably bad, ridiculously pretentious in places and cringeworthy the rest of the time, I’ve never been a huge fan of Brian Azzarello’s but this makes me actively dislike him.

Amazingly so, though this was him finally delivering upon the kickstarter that he started in 2012 so was kind of obligated to eventually finish. He does keep an updated blog asking for patreon support as well though, but I’ve no idea if anyone still donates.

I’m really enjoying the new Buffy series but I have to say Angel 0 and 1 didn’t win me over, it’s going to have to improve a lot if I end up sticking with it.

Likewise, and I have to confess I wasn’t a huge fan of Ewing’s 2000AD work, but I’m really pleased he’s managed to create something so special.

This was a great article, thanks so much for it, I’ve added a good few titles to my pull list due to it.
