They’re some of the best of the whole series, so I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

I think it’s such a shame the site decided against regularly reviewing Kidding, I had my doubts about the series after the first episode but it slowly developed in to one of the best tv shows that I’ve seen in years, and last night’s season finale was affecting if brutal stuff. If anyone’s interested, I wrote a full…
I know I’m responding to a question from ages ago and I doubt many will see it but the series finale has just aired (or leaked online, at least) and I think it was astonishing stuff, the pre-air review got it completely wrong and this is one of the best tv series Showtime have ever made.
I know this review was only based on the first four episodes, but it turns out it couldn’t have been more wrong. I’ve just watched the season finale and it’s a show which has become truly affecting and profound, and one of the best things I’ve seen on television in years. I’d be interested to see if the site covers it…
Now you’ve got me hoping that this proves there really is going to be a fifth season of Nathan For You.
I think Netflix are pretty safe as I can’t imagine Disney+ showing anything like Bojack Horseman, Black Mirror or Orange Is The New Black, so as long as Netflix continue creating high quality adult fare they should survive. That or just put lots of porn on the service.
I’ve very mixed feelings about the episode, which may change over time when I watch it again but right now I can’t help but feel disappointed. The ending was truly affecting but everything that preceded it was fairly weak and it’s such a shame it wasn’t a more consistent ending to the season. For those who might be…
And a couple of other comments they made:
I just found the post in question and thought I’d copy and paste it so others can see how horrendous a situation it is.
“You might know them as the nice, friendly, but annoying, people who disturb your Saturday mornings to ask you if you want to read their magazines. Harmless really, just a bit deluded, yeah? Ok, they…
He said in an interview he was too busy to do a 2018 Wipe unfortunately, which is a huge shame - https://www.radiotimes.com/news/on-demand/2018-11-01/charlie-brooker-wipe-cancelled-bbc-satire-2018-wipe-future/
Someone I know on another forum was a Jehovah’s Witnesses and the way the treat children is akin to child abuse according to him, and he listed a great amount of really f***ed up things about the religion which after doing a bit of research seem to be all true, so I think it’s appalling that there hasn’t been a proper…
Despite everything I really like Mike Meyers but jesus, that was painful to watch. I’m sure he kept on slipping in to his Tommy Maitland voice as well which didn’t help matters.
The Little Shop Of Horrors - It’s kind of an embarrassing story as I bought the soundtrack before the movie was released in the UK as I was jealous of my sister’s love for the Rocky Horror Show and wanted my own musical to love. Luckily I chose an amazing one and when the movie was released I adored it, and regularly…
For some reason I get the feeling that this might be another Richard Kelly situation, and this might be Mitchell’s Southland Tales. Which I wouldn’t have a problem with as I love that movie, but it’d be a shame if it was a box office failure.
I love this show to pieces, it’s easily in my top 10 sitcoms of all time, but I’m so glad I didn’t know who Pamela Adlon was when I watched it or I’d never have been able to take Bobby seriously.
Also: When I was five years old my sister kicked me in the balls and I retaliated and kicked her in her groin and we were…
I’ve only watched the first season of this so far but is there any chance of some of the original cast turning up in it? Presumably Dorian Grey could as he never ages, and Josh Harnett’s werewolf might still be alive at this point...
You’re not wrong, I don’t know why (bar having a stupid brain) but there’s a few words I overuse like that when I try not to. Have edited them out anyway in the hope it makes for a better read.
Absolutely loved this episode, I’ve struggled with the show a little recently but this was the best one in ages, for anyone interested there’s a full review here - https://comedytowatch.wordpress.com/2018/11/01/tv-review-south-park-s22-e05/
I liked it at the time but I was fairly young back then and watching that longplay video can imagine it’s a bit of a clunky affair. The little girl with the knife still gives me occasional nightmares though, so I’ll always remain fond of it.
I didn’t know about that but it’s depressing news, he’s one of my favourite writers on the site.
